The cpu is a bit rubbish, but the gpu is acceptable for this price bracket.

I had an HP lappy with the old Semprom 3600 and ATI 1270 integrated graphics. Whilst it wasn't spectacularly fast, it wasn't rubbish either! You can happily run Office and surf. I even played some games (Far Cry & all of the Half Life 2 series) on it without problems. However if you want to play modern games, get something with decent dedicated graphics.

For £319, this looks an ok deal to me.

Great deal but before I look to purchase - can someone advise if this is actually windows 7 as under the features tab on the tesco site states "Operating System Microsoft Windows® Vista™ Home Premium " ???

Thanks

Yep it is Windows 7, got it running now, had to unistall a load of crap demo's and trialware that came with it, but runs great, screen is fantastic. I know its not the fastest CPU, but its for the mother in laws Mothers Day, so it just for email and surfing

I'd say that this is a better machine.

Dual core processor and more memory plus twice the disk space.
The graphics card isn't as good but it will feel much faster in use.
