Its been at this price for at least a week and I was surprised that no one had submitted this deal (not a recent one at any rate)

Can you get this with Windows 7 already installed?

Not a lightweight by any means for such a small screen (2.8kg).

Only consider the full version of Win 7 NOT the "starter" version, which usually comes with netbooks. The Starter version is awful, better stay with Win XP. (You can always upgrade to Win 7 later if you feel the need, which I doubt)

Weight is 1.48Kg, don't forget this netbook as more capable than most as it has an NVidia GeForce 9400M graphics chipset. Ram is easily upgradeable to 3GB. It can even play games

i had one of these. poor build quality, lots of flex and awful keys. it has an Alps trackpad which has poor sensitivity and accuracy (compared to synaptics anyway). battery life isnt that great as the nvidia chipset seems to eat power far more than intel.

on the plus side, it did play HD (1080p) flawlessly. there is a simple bios flash which will enable the Nvidia full ION (rather than Ion LE).

Bought one for the Mrs
Keyboard is quite nice certainly better then my Eee pc 901's keyboard and layout is good
yeah touch pad is a bit odd but not a deal breaker i would have thought
Screen is probably the biggest factor for the battery - it big and bright but the trade off is the very nice resolution
Machine is quite glossy but nice and shiny like
And I thought the build quality quite decent also for the price

weight is def okay some 10" netbooks weight 1.2 kg and this 11.6" one is i confirm just heavier at 1.48Kg

Got one of these for a niece and set it up for accelerated video etc. I thought the build quality was great and as I hate all trackpads I got her a bluetooth mouse anyway so that was never an issue.

I thought the 11.6" screen would be a little too big for a real "out-and-about" netbook but in the end I was won round by the better resolution. If I were buying for myself, I would now definitely consider it at this price.

Have some heat!

Got this the last time it was on offer at Expansys, absolutely fantastic piece of kit and looks great. Can't say I have any grumbles about the touchpad or build quality at all. Brilliant screen, I would never get one with a lower res after using this. Picking another one up at this price for my parents :)
