PS. especially true when you think about it this way. The monitor and win7 cost approx £200 already.

HP customer service is possibly/probably the worst on the planet

I have only ever had a good experience with HP customer service, although I have only ever dealt with the businees side and not consumer.

I have sent loads of people to Comet for these.

They are a great little PC, cheapest I have seen is £379.00

As long as you dont't want to do any gaming they are ideal.

Another cracking computer deal.Heat added.

Deal looks good, have some warmth.

I'm guessing these types are the future for non gamers. New equipment every few years, way fast enough for normal stuff and leave the big kids to blow their pocket money on the latest shiny piece of overpriced kit.

Is the processor significantly faster than the atom 330?

thanks

Intel Atom are designed for low energy usage, therefore AMD Athlon II would have a better performance over it.

Cool, there's no reason to get a quad is there, and it'll be considerably more expensive wouldn't it?

You can just keep going more and more with the spec side. It really is a case of getting what you can afford. This will be great for email, surfing, photoshop and some older games but not for the latest games and hd video editing etc. It's a really good price for a package.

I think that's been the case for the last few years anyway, certainly since the age of the 3GHz P4; I still use what is basically a 2004 PC and don't ever feel a need for more speed.

If I was gaming or doing 3D CAD then it would be different of course.

I see they do it without monitor for £269 less any discounts so maybe around £250

I have used them 3 times and never had a problem. I have been covered under warranty all 3 times and I can highly recommend them.

Yes, 250GB less space, and 2GB less RAM.

Is that worth £60 more?
Is it necessary for home use of internet and email?

Is this a bad graphic card, is it better than Nvidia ® GeForce GT 420 1GB DDR3?

I have a HP & Compaq both very easy to up date drivers and upgrade / updates on line ( both reaching the best / sell by dates now) and have HP wifi 4 in 1 fax printer and had a HP A3 printer when I had problems with them to replaced both within 3 days .. so I think they have a very good on after sales service . . . I would have gone for this but can't see the full spec such as motherboard but hey1 Such a great price
