Only concern is 4mm is just thick enough for a 50litre tank- make sure it's kept out of the way of toddlers and their flying toys, as may not stand up to much abuse, last thing you want is 50 litres of fishy water and dead fish all over your lovely floor...
It's also important to ensure you are aware of the potential full size of your fish before you buy them.
Finally - don't forget to cycle the tank before adding any expensive fish:

Even better, get it cycled with a biological cycle aid:

Any decent pet shop will do a free water test on request.

Bio-Orbs are almost universally hated among aquarium keepers

How do they require a lot less cleaning? You can't put any decent clean-up crew in a biorb due to the razor sharp gravel, you can't use many cleaning products on the perspex and the filter / bubblr tube is probably the worst design in dfish keeping. I like biorbs visually (and have had three previously), but they are way overpriced and very under powered for what they are.
Hot deal, i sense another tank (and home arguemenet) if i can find one in store!

I have a marine tank and would recommend it to anyone, but get a larger tank and read up well on keeping fish before getting them to reduce problems.
