Brilliant price!...... designer taps included and these on their own would cost you £30-£40. Quidco available...... shame the delivery charge couldn't be a bit cheaper!

UPDATE: I'm not sure if I should say this but I've just discovered that Plumbworld trade on Ebay & for this item, they start their auctions at 1 pence + delivery. I've looked at their completed listings & these sell on there for £160-£200 + delivery. Sorry, if this reference to ebay isn't allowed but I'm only trying to show people the best deal!

Bear in mind, like kitchens: which can be cheap as chips flatboard kits for £99, bathrooms can easily cost many hundreds to install if not over £1000.

Not offering a deal comparison.

Simply stating that this is NOT the deal that THEY claim it to be and that it is VERY poor quality.

"(Bath is supplied with no pre-drilled tapholes)"

While I don't think that much of the whole deal - or indeed the bath itself, no tapholes can be a distinct advantage, rather than the implied negative depending where and how you want it installed! eg. corner taps or over bath wall mounted type.

I understand your comments nihcaj but just in case anyone is thinking of buying with a view to mounting the taps on the wall, the taps shown by Rizla cannot be mounted that way, unless you mount them on some form of shelf. In other words, those taps must be mounted in the conventional manner.

Well maybe for those who dont things properly. What about:-
- possible retiling - then you find you cant get the tiles.
- redecorating
- floor tiles/carpeting dont fit so may need replacing

guess it depends if want a quality finish or a dogs dinner
#11
designer taps cost more than £30-40...cheap ones cost £10-40
#12
Bought a sink from them, wasn't UK fitting some euro nonsence, had some trouble with it.
#13
it may be cheap but it's a shed load better than what i got at the moment
#14
Very Basic Reflects The Price .

This is the bathroom my mum & dad got about 6 months ago. Excellent customer service from Plumbworld.

Doesnt look cheap at all apart from the thin plastic toilet seat. We chose the sink with one taphole and looks great.

Was around this price then and wishing i had posted it now. Anyway anyone considering it wont be dissapointed, a great price.

Hmmm, hardly any baths, including expensive ones, would be pre-drilled for taps now-a-days - so that is not unusual.

not a good one.

DO NOT , I REPEAT, DO NOT....buy these cheap european foreign ****. I made the mistake of buying from plumbworld just over a year ago. I though id got a bargain..bought everything for a bathroom, bathroom suite, mirror, taps, chrome towel rail....firstly i had a problem with most fittings as they were not to bs standards..some european ****..had to buy bits of adaptors and pipes to make them fit..the panel i recieved was warped..i still have it installed...the bath taps are hard to turn off...seems like the ceramic cartridge in them is stuck or broken...the towel rail has started to rust...the bathroom mirror is also starting to peel off at the back..its getting this brown kind of marks at the bottom...the toilet bowl is way to small comapred to our british sizes...the level of water in the bowl is way to low..when you have a ****..it takes at least two flushes...tthe coating on the actual bathroom suite is such that dirt and **** sticks to it like ****...all in all...forget about these guy..cheap foreign ****...im gonna change my bathroom in the summer..stick to british standards and quality..might be a bit more expensive..but worth it in the l;ong run..rant over..:x

im voting it freezing as ive had experince with this kind,,

This seems to be the thread to ask this question, but does anyone know what style of taps I should get to get that fuzzy / bubbly / white water effect? That'll probably sound stupid, but you get it a lot in hotels.
#20
Thisthread has evoked a great deal of comment. Can no one come up with a much better alternative. That would be very helpful.
Thanks

never worth £467!!!
#22
This is nice for price, like the taps. Def a bargain if your just looking for a cheap suite. Getting it fitted will cost you more than the whole suite but hey we all know that. Luckily I have a plumber in the family (it's just a nightmare trying to get him to do anything)
#23
Its a £200 bathroom suite. You get them in B$Q etc all the time. It's never worth the previous price quoted.
#24
Can't say whether this suite is any good or not, but I got a set of taps from plumbworld a couple of months ago (the ones that come with this suite I think) and am very pleased with them.
Got taps for basin and bath complete with wastes and chrome plugs for £34.94 delivered. They look good and are nice and solid, all standard fittings - no problem to fit. Customer service was good too, got several e-mails from them checking that everything was ok. Meant to post on here but didn't get round to it but they're still there!

do you own this suite then? or just guessing its poor quality. you say its not worth £300

the deal works out at far cheaper than that :whistling:

its not the style of tap, its the fitting that goes in the tap end.

plumbworld have always offered great qualit, prices and service in the 3 times I have used them. My double shower enclosure and stone tray was about £300. The same one in MFI at the time was £1400!

no wonder they went bust ;)
#28
hi all,i work in a plumbers merchant and you usually get what you pay for,I wouldnt reccomend a 5mm bath always go for 8mm if available so on that basis defo a cheap suite which was well overpriced to begin with.

Thanks for that. Can you shed some more light on the subject for me? i.e. point me in the direction of some fittings that would do the job.

Sorry but I'm a complete novice at all these things.

Been looking for a cheap bathroom suite today at B&Q, their cheapest was a half price offer at £235.
#31
Yea you can find similar at B & Q off the shelf range for that price. Still can't argue at that price if you are on a budget.
