Apparently the discs are scratched due to the boxset design. Still hot.
#2
How can they still be selling it for 150 at some if that's the case?
#3
What store was this in?
Or is it a nationwide deal?
#4
Two cardiff stores
Didnt buy it so don't ask for proof and wouldnt post it anyway.
#5
Hot if it's nationwide
#6
So isn't hot if the two stores I saw it sell over 60/70 boxes that I saw.
#7
Make that 50/60 lol
#9
Superb deal.

I never liked this when it first came out as I didn't think it was as good as Cheers, but when I started recording the episodes on Channel4 I started seeing it for what it is and that is a well written American comedy that transfers to British SOH very well. :)

Really funny and consistently good . Over the years I've bought all the series boxsets individually, heaven knows how much I've spent - but £49 is a bargain.

Excellent price. I envy anyone just discovering Frasier for the first time - they've got an amazing run ahead of them, episode after episode of brilliance. And they never get any less watchable, either. Because it was never 'trendy' it's quite a timeless sort of show.

Probably because two of the key characters are british.

If I see this for £49 in my local I'll definitely pick it up. About 90-100 hours worth

this is ten times the deal of the 40 for friends which can be picked up for 30 at times. has anyone found some in other stores?
#16
To be fair the offer @ 59.99 had a discount code and quidco making it less than 49.99. Of course you should never assume quidco. Would I want a damaged boxset? hmmm

#18

what is the policy on HMV returns? The reason I ask is that the discs are quite obviously marked due to the box design. I have watched disc 1 which was fine. Just worried that I may get to one of them and it wont work. The problem is that I wont be watching all the disc straight away so what to do?

Cheers

I plan on putting the discs into alternative storage; I'll probably rip them all to Xvid for convenience anyway.

Oh my local store had about 10 copies at £49! Checked 1-2 hours ago. I think 4-5 got sold yesterday. These will go!!!

Went into store today held the boxset. Just thought would I ever watch all 11 seasons again and again. I think the casing of each series is putting me off a bit.
