Pure comedy gold.
If I didn't already have most of his stuff I'd buy it.

Yes, it's certainly not complete without Alan Partridge's Countdown To World Cup '94!

But a good deal none-the-less. Very hot. Spent a lot more purchasing all of these individually.

Don't have any of the shor-tlived Tony Ferrino character, but have everything else he did, even some bootleg stuff :p

Anyways, superb deal. Coogan is genius

OMG yes, well spotted mate. I don't have that either, but you can find it on Youtube. Very funny indeed :-D

As far as I know, Paul & Pauline Calf's Video Diaries and the Tony Ferrino stuff have never been released individually on DVD so I was surprised to see them in there as I didn't even know they existed on disc, only VHS. This is worth it just for Paul's video diary alone ... 'I'm not wearing dead man's pants!' :-D
#11
OK you want Coogan anorak mode....what about a collection of his stretches from The Krypton Factor, am I the only one who remembers them?
#12
worst....."comedian"......ever!

Now there was some classic stuff.

"You've got sh*t shoes on you sh*tty shoed b*stard"

Tempting for that alone!

To be fair i see where your coming from. I personally think hes hilarious but i can see why its not to many peoples taste.
#21
He more of a comic actor rather a comedian anyway, so it's a stupid comment to make.

Yes i do. Especially the Sherlock Holmes sketch.
#23
Ooh, ladyboys.
#24

"You've got sh*t shoes on you sh*tty shoed b*stard"!

Ahh now that is pure comic genius:whistling:

Classic stuff?

You've made a cra*p post you crapp*y posting b*stard:p

Sorry to dampen the deal slightly wizzkid, but next cheapest price isnt +£50 as you stated in your OP. I just only checked the other 2 usual suspects and they are PLAY (£49.99) and Amazon are selling this for £38.98 ... so you are actually saving a massive £1.99. Also take note that there are problems with the DVDs been incorrectly labelled ... SHAME :x
#27
what about three fights two weddings and a funeral that came after the video diaries?

what about three fights two weddings and a funeral that came after the video diaries?

That is a part of the video diaries, i.e., Paul and Pauline Calf's Video Diaries comprises 'Paul Calf's Video Diary' and 'Three Fights, Two Weddings and a Funeral'.

Source : my rapidly disintegrating VHS copy!

PS: My favourite out of the above has to be Knowing Me Knowing Yule with Alan Partridge. That has me laughing, quite literally, like a drain. Always preferred early Partridge during his chatshow days on radio and TV, before he became the embarrassing washed-up presenter from I'm Alan Partridge. Not to knock the series of course, it's liquid gold. Oh hang on, I'm mixing my catchphrases now!

You could equally ask for Night at the Museum, but The Day Today was hardly a major Coogan project, and there would be much greater negotiations involved in getting these kinds of things included, due to the amount of material in the show as a whole that was written by and starred other people as the lead.

How can you have Alan P without "Two headed Sex Beast"?
