yes - the first line of the post !!!

Need to use code SPORT20

Good price

Its a great deal, but I can't understand why they don't supply corded drills these days. If you buy it for the holiday home etc, the battery would have lost charge and be completely drained by the time you need to use it!
#8
Then postage for home delivery ??
#9
may as well collect it as with code and delivery is 21 pound something so still dearer
#10
where do you enter the discount code? i can't find the box anywhere.

can you use the code when reserving for store pickup?? or do i use the code in store when i pick it up?

cheers :)

the picture looks like a leather recliner at first glance :)

TBH even at this price i would steer well clear of any 'challenge' brand items.
Shouldn't think it will even last long doing basic DIY tasks...
#15
Have I got this right the only way to get this for £15.67 is to spend £50.00 in total:? Otherwise it’s £19.99:whistling:

you have thought a holiday home had electricity, even a campsite etc
Beside the point is of cordless drill is that its more convienient/better for less accessible places and less hassle than having to get the extension cable out.
for big jobs esp with masonary etc unless you have a top of the range cordless your almost always better using a mains powered.

Agreed

If you were to take on a project...say build a set of shelves. You would have to wait 7hours to charge the unit, start the project, then half way through, recharge the unit (wait 7 hours) then finish the job.
Any job that takes a bit of umph will need far better equipment than this.
(I love my Makita- torque rules ok {charges in 25mins}).

My brother had this before replacing it with a decent set. It is ok for very minor DIY jobs, it could probably handle putting up some shelves or something but for anything bigger get a decent tool kit.

cool.. i bought some £10 codes of ebay and saved me £10 and got 3 for xmas gifts

..and you know this how, precisely?
I have a "Challenge" SDS drill and it's fine for the odd big hole in a wall. I also have a challenge detail sander. Once again it's fine for the occasional job.
Whilst I agree the toolkit probably wouldn't last a jobbing tradesman long, it'd probably be fine for DIY use.
Have ordered one (As a prezzie) and will write a mini-review, assuming it's in stock when I go to collect..

Cold from me -

- Not high enough RPM to be any good drilling metal or hard surfaces.
- Ridicluosly long charge time.
- 1 Battery!
- Accessories probably very poor quality.

Just a waste of money IMO
#26
This is out of stock
#27
doesn't look very high quality
#28
I got the last one! Thanks!
#29
Ridiculous! At this price surely they should be delivering it AND throwing in a tradesman for half a day as well as a written apology from the manufacturer if you cant build an entire housing estate with it......

I would give you some rep if i knew how to...:-D

be warned that although the drill works ok the bits and pieces in the pack are of woeful quality. quickly wear out and can only be used a few times before they break/wear out
