27p for a Decking Post Support, seems a bargain to me.

Screwfix have the same item at £3.05...

Not much use to most people, but if you are putting up decking right now then use these and your posts won't rot in a few years (as they would if you concrete them straight into the ground).

My first post so don't crucify me!

Beacon Trading delivery is £8.95 (Next Day TNT)

yes add in P&P and it becomes cold... £11.01 in vat.

Amend title to "screwfix only £3.05!". Perhaps consider an extra exclamation mark.

Most decking jobs would need a lot of posts (10+).

How many decks just need one post?

Pretty decent then as you say, who does a decking job with one post?

Screwfix is 10 for £30.50 plus £5 delivery so £35.50 (if you ordered more though delivery is free above £50) so 20 would be £61.

Beacon trading is 10 for £11.65 or 20 for £14.35.

Excellent saving.

True. But why not be slightly more honest in your original posting instead of putting the "27p vs £3.05"? You're supposed to include postage anyway.

Not a bad deal if you take all this into account. Probably worth more than 27p in metal alone?!

Too bad you voted it cold then.

Chill.

Hi I ordered some of these last night, as we are currently decking the garden and have just received an email this morning to say that the price is an error and they will be refunding the money :-(
Items should be £2.73 each and not £0.23. :-( they say this is down to human error

lol not such a great deal after all then haha £3.28 each including the VAT. It's not the OP's fault though, could have been a great deal ;)

Got the same email :(
Now they say they need my credit card details again to process the refund. But they already have them from the original order?

Depends how they process card transactions I'm afraid. On the bright side think about it this way - you trusted them enough to give them your cc details in the first place.

I know in-store purchases you have to go back with the actual card, maybe they don't have automatic facilities for making refunds.

I'm always a bit cautious about giving cc details over the phone though so I don't know lol
