Thought this looked a great offer. Yes it's only 1GB Ram but for most basic tasks this is enough despite what some ram **** will tell you.

You won't find a better priced tablet with a similar specification anywhere else this Christmas.

With its Full HD touch screen, choose this tablet PC for easy on the go computing. It is ideal for media junkies, casual browsers and first time users.

The Connect 10 inch Tablet gives everyone the best balance between portability and usability. Its vivid IPS touch screen makes the most of the touch-friendly Windows 10 interface and puts powerful tools at everyone's fingertips, making it the perfect device to keep you connected wherever you are.

EDIT: I see someone added the delivery price for this. Sorry I forgot to do this. However I did see the option for free within 5 day delivery so keep a lookout to see if that shows up for you.

I chose Click and Collect but afterwards noticed that it says not available for click and collect but it went through anyway so not sure what will happen with my order.

Does this have a 1080p screen or 1280x800? The Tesco product page conflicts with the ebuyer page...

If you spend over £49.99 you get delivery for free (otherwise it's £5 delivery charge within 5 days). I've chucked one of these into the basket for just under a fiver (seems to be £15+ elsewhere) and a packet of photo paper from the clearance section to get the free delivery.

+ Quidco 2.2%...

Does anyone know if you can download SkyGo on this please? I know with some you cant. Thanks :)

would this tablet play all/ most android play store apps my kids might typically like?
#15
or does it need windows apps only?

It's a windows tablet, which means it can run anything windows can. It won't run android apps (unless via emulation, but don't think this tablet would be capable of doing that).

Got this for the future mother in law as she just broke her cesium 90 by ramming the micro usb charger in upside down so often it broke the micro usb port. This has a DC port so she shouldn't be able to break it

Can't see how it would run at all as they say it needs 1gb free system ram minimum.

I think that's the charger spec, not the battery capacity. It says 8 hours battery life so the battery must be fairly beefy.

Well anything that windows can run in 1gb with onboard graphics anyway.

If your primary aim is running android apps get an android tablet, this and emulation is a recipe for frustration and disappointment.

Thank you for your answer. Currently I have a 0.3 MP camera (640x480) in my old laptop. I guess this 2 MP one is going to be much better.

There are a load of issues to consider here

1 - Windows is an AWFUL tablet operating system, SO much stuff does not work with touch in Windows it's hard to know where to start
2 - Windows Apps are - erm - sparse and a bit poorly supported?
3 - 1Gb of RAM is going to CRIPPLE this thing
4 - I'd be amazed if the cameras and speakers aren't borderline useless

I've used a Linx 10 for over a year now - it's frustrating, a bit slow and fairly clunky and it has twice the RAM this thing has. It can run Amiduos tho (Android Emulator) quite well and that's what it does more than anything else - no way will that work with 1Gb tho - nor will much of anything else.

Other issues in the Linx likely to be here are poor Wifi (same chip I think?) which is a real PiTA

So it's cheap - for a reason?
