Not recommended, old Z3735G from 2014 and only 1GB RAM.

Too small for Windows in my opinion. Very handy if you need a compact Windows Device you can connect via HDMI etc.
#3
yeah to slow and to small..... but under £40 is a great deal!!!

Good price I suppose but I'm always wary of trying to run windows 10 on 32GB of space. You are always fighting for room to put things on. I have a lenovo yoga that came with that and it was a pain. luckily I managed to upgrade that one with an SSD .

I have a Lenova Miix 3 with 32Gb Storage. Fine for OS and use a 128Gb MicroSD for other stuff. Mostly used to playback Videos.
#6
Use it as a cheap digital photo frame or the other option as a media player. Ok for those uses.

I have this. It makes for a good media player and it stays in the glove box as we use it on car journeys. If your uses are modest then its a great device.

I have a Toshiba tablet with 2gb ram, it's ok, windows runs fine on it and with HDMI out it makes a great PC to plug into a monitor so I can work from home. My wfh involves remoting in to my work PC so it doesn't need to be fast. You'd need either a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with this though, or a usb hub(but you wouldn't be able to charge the tablet).

Does this have a USB port

torn between this tablet, the 10" identical version of this for £69 at Tesco, and the £100 Linx vision which has 2gb ram and uses the Z8300 cpu which has around same cpu performance but more powerful gpu performance

Great.

It has a micro USB port with a USB adaptor which doubles up as a charging port

This is better value at £40 - pretty much a toy. Its good for basic tasks like watching movies, TV, Spotify and playing simple games. If you have a budget of £100 I'd say you're better off buying a budget laptop/PC with a celeron CPU and 2GB ram. I think Ive seen those around on this site.

Got one of these and it is indeed too slow. So slow that I lost the will to use it. Been gathering dust since it was bought.

this is similar to the Windows tablet I found for only £44.30 but that comes with 2GB Ram.

Good price, but 2Gb RAM is a must.
#18
could I possibly add this to my Windows home network and move video files to it over the network and avoid wires?
#19
How would it compare to the (sometimes £35) amazon fire tablet? In both speed and ecosystem? Usage for a five year old is YouTube, Plex and free games.

want to turn this into a kurio style clone for child... but with better usability (needed a mit qualification to navigate around the stupid thing). anyone know of a website for guidance to help make it child friendly?

also, can't find a bespoke case for it with camera eye hole in right place. stupid to have to keep taking it out to take snaps. ideas (besides drilling out a hole for it)?

thanks

Really? This device works fine with 1GB of ram. 2GB would be lovely. How much does the cheapest Win10 tab with 2GB ram costs?

If its a penny more than £79.99 then it's at least double the cost of this tablet alone for a smidgen of speed how good a value does that represent?

He said he bought it for £44.30, not £79.99. An extra gig of ram for £4.31 would seem advantageous and a good deal.
