I was looking at these cases a month ago when they were advertised online at half price in their sale. I ummed and rrrrd and left it. But last week I was in Sainsburys at Durham and saw them for 70% off! I went and bought a set straight away. They cost £27....bargain. They had 4 sets on the shelf when i bought them.
They are hard bodied and have 4 wheels....really smart and easy to manouver.
Dont know if this is nationwide, but online they are back to full price. So you may come across one somewhere.

they weigh 4.4kg ........with a 23kg limit on most flights now rubbish to start of with this already! watch out guys now as you'll end up paying at the airport as soon as you go over.

23kg - ha, with cheap airlines the most you get is usually 20kg.

We just got 2 suitaceses at 3.8kg. Wasn't sure if that was light or not for them! Luckily we get 100kg between me, hubby and 3 kids.

OP this is fab price. Not sure if to get these for extra just incase :)

Yes Ryaniair are 15kg for £30...Easyjet are 20kg for £18 (half price when booked online)

4.4 kg is not as much as you think. Most of the luggages are around that weight.
World's lightest luggage is 2.7kg. That 1.5kg doesn't mean too much if trade it off for sturdiness.

thanks for this

Been to 3 near Manchester (Denton, Oldham, Ashton) and none had any, boooo.

I'd really like these so if anyone spots a decent amount of stock at another Manchester store let me know.

most flights to the usa are now 20kg (checked luggage) 5kg hand luggage ..im going to the states in 2 weeks and checked with my travel agent he checked and said all flights have no reviewed weights and the way they can keep prices the same as last year but earn a profit is to lower the luggage allowance he sai they should make this public knowledge we didnt believe him at first until he showed the the email memo showing all airline allowances and all the airlines i checked had the same limits they used to be around 30kg checked and didnt really bother about hand luggage but all changed now..

they advise to save on weights use sports bags as these dont weigh anything but most hard case hand luggage is nearly 5kg to start with so once you add that upto your suitcase most peole will already be over..

so beware and check with your airlines before flyng to the states..

Had similar style cases to these over the years, and the wheels are often the things that get knocked off during transit on the luggae system and loading/unloading on the planes.

A good price if they are sturdy enough to last for a few years.

Has anyone seen these in a store in the South of England. Nearer to Brighton the better.
