Ive never had a puncture over 4000 miles on the heavily potholed roads of lincolnshire and weighing 18 stone!

Brilliant tyres, so much grip too

Best price I've ever seen

Great price, just paid £60 ish for a pair last month! Have to say that I have much more confidence in these than I did the kenda's they replaced. Quality tyre.

Visit London and you will get one right away. Had two this weekend

Hot - but I run the 28s for added comfort, so not for me..
#15
Saw them, again amazing deal! I just want that little more grip for this time of year and over the next few months, also they will do me through summer as well if I need them too. I guess it depends what you require .

At RSM.

Just bought a second hand bike and it needs new tyres and they are this size. cheers

I use 4 Seasons. More of an all-rounder. Balance between comfort, speed and durability. 4000s is geared towards speed over durability and comfort
#18
Great price, thanks O.P.

I use 4000s for training in summer. The 4 seasons are better against the risk of punctures. Gatorskins are good but the ride is harder and the grip is not as good in the wet.

Either this tyre or a Schwalbe with a plastic layer.

is this a road tyre? how many miles should you replace tyres?

Depends. I look out for when they flat spot, feel like they are sliding about or get puncture prone.
#22
I run on slicks , not sure if these would be better for commuting 10km each way? have had my current tyres for a couple of years atleast
#23
Use MVC10 for another 10% off... Just bought
#24
Amazing price, been needing some winter tyres for a while now and after suffering 4 flats last week I was ready to pay £60. Thanks!
#25
Damn...I was waiting to get home so I could place the order. They're sold out now

Code not working, at least for me. Quidco offers 2.2% and tbc 2%.
#27
Sold out now, expired :(

Snoozed and lost :( I've still got an unused pair in the cupboard but would have got these as additional 'stock'. Brilliant tyres even at £60 a pair, I've been using them for the past 4 years and wouldn't use anything else. Well done OP for a great find!
#29
Ordered 2 pairs last night. Thanks OP. 10% code worked. Used Quidco hoping it tracks at 5.5% for new customers
#30
Placed an order last night and received this email today from Pro Bike Kit..

"Unfortunately we have had to cancel this order. This is due to a pricing error on our website."

Did anyone's order go through or did they cancel them all?
#31
I've used these for years and are my year round commuting tyre. I'd say they are worth £30 each so 2 for £40 is a bargain.... heat :)

Who's else didn't get honoured?
#34
I have a set on my Scott, these are very good tyres, give plenty of grip and well worth it for the money. Maybe if you were looking for a racing tyre, the GP 4000's would be better, but these are good all-rounders.
#35
My order was cancelled :(
#36
mine order cancelled too, not used probikekit for years over an issue I had years ago with them, won't be using again!
#37
I ordered twice. One was honoured one was cancelled (_;)
#38
My order was not honored. Do consumers have any rights when it comes to issues such as these?
banned#39
i got my set delivered. £40. must have been lucky
#40
1 puncture in 4000 miles on these. That's was a big pot holes pinch flat. Great price for these. I'm after 28mm now though
