I agree that the 4000S tyres are even better but thy are also a lot more expensive. At this price, these are pretty decent compromise between the 4000S and the dreadful Ultra Sport tyres that are so often found on new bikes.

Gp4000s II are superb, the best I've managed to get them for is 52 quid a pair after a fiver off code, so these are quite a saving.

More rolling resistance but also more puncture protection than the gp4000.

Better for commuting no doubt?

These are a great commuting tyre and this is a good price.

I've got a pair on my commuting bike , have ridden 4000 miles since fitted & only 1 puncture ( which was my fault)

Still lots of life left in them.
