Which makes this deal even HOTTER! :p

Pretty good price, but bear in the mind the running costs of these things!.. heating with electric is very expensive!
#8
not sure how this is a good price there are plenty below this price with a quick google search.

The only advantage I can see is most others are 2kw where this is 2.3kw

The one linked at Screwfix does not come with LED display, remote control, frost protection as well as the max power output being different

It looks like it has been made from Stormtroopers.

Especially with convector ones like this, because the heat is directed at the ceiling where it gets wasted. Fan heaters are more efficient.

Got one of these last year for when Im in the garage working on my bikes.
Spot on hasnt given any problems.

Also this allows you to blow out the grill on the front, or out of the top.
Just set it to the temp you want, then let it switch itself on/off when needed.
#13
Bought one of these a couple of years ago for a reception area at work. Excellent, never had any bother. Will heat a large space quckly then keep at the same temperature.
Well made, good controls and dependable.
#14
It has a 3 year warranty which kind of repudiates the ill informed Lidl jokes.

Find one with a better spec, then come back and post it on here.

They can't

All depends on whether you want to heat the whole room or a small area. The hot air from a fan heater will soon rise to the ceiling, just like this one.

If you believe Lid's marketing, then this heater is less efficient than the "ceramic" fan heater they had a few weeks ago.

If, however, you understand the basics of physics then you will know that this is a lie and you will get the same heat per penny than for any other type of electric heater (apart from storage heaters where you cheat by using cheaper electricity at night).

Just like any form of heat then..

Indeed. Just like the law of conservation of energy, It's not obvious to everyone though.

No way to get it its too amazing device on earth to be possible to buy it. Just called to Lidl helpline and said its gone in whole London! People was waiting long before stores were open to get it and its gone within an hour or two. But look on the device itself, where you gonna find lcd temperature termostat and remote, turbo fan and 2300 watt? None in amazon, eBay or nowhere. That's the difference from the heaters available.

I picked one up this morning at about 10:30
#23
lucky you, where?
#24
Blantyre, just outside Glasgow
#25
That's why, as I said none in London, if you're lucky to live outside, then you might be able to grab one, in London is kinda crazy, everything disappears fast ;)
#26
I tried 2 stores within London at approx 1pm on 3rd. Both sold out
#27
Hoping this comes back around

On sale in Poole Dorset, now they cost £29 99, still seems a good price though.

Just bought one for my Daughter, seems to be really good.
