Everytime I wear these dreamy pink numbers I seem to get abuse shouted at me wherever I go, most unpleasant, still cannot understand why?

I quite like pink things but that's me. If you're anti-pink there's always these... not got the famous name but they're 8 quid delivered if the code still works.

Mine arrived a few days ago, they are very well-made and comfortable.

I am a 6'4" 17.5 stone rugby player and I have a pair of these and I have never been accused of being gay or have ever felt they threaten/make my sexuality ambiguous.

If you are concerned about what people might think I would suggest you have doubts about your own sexuality.

Colour wise they are most definitely pink, bright pink.
If you get any bigotted comments from chavs aimed at you just go and stand very close to them, close enough to breath on them and discuss their ill founded perception. I have done this a couple of times with my 'Rose' coloured world beach rugby Wellington Warriors T-Shirt and the poor little things cannot cope, they look distressed and slink away with their mates laughing at them.

You might even get the chance to belt one of them in self defence, always good to feel the bone of your knuckles on chav flesh.

Well I'm a 5'7 fork lift truck driver. If I went to town in a pair of these I would be concerned what people would think. I really don't feel the need to prove my sexuality by dressing overtly gay while being completely straight. I would suggest that the only reason you can get away with it is precisely because your a 6'4 rugby player.

I am imagining my husband in these and I think he'd look great!

Also, has no one here heard of DYE? They have it in all colours, even especially made for shoes. It's like £2. So if you want the shoes, in the colour you want, at this price, then do the work and dye them.

Wearing pink shoes doesn't make someone become gay, look gay or anything else.

Personally I'm gutted I hadnt seen this post earlier... I collect Converse and dont have any Pink ones and would be more than happy to get some in a size 9 if they had any left :(

On the whole gay issue....couldn't be further from it... i dont think a choice of colour of clothes or shoes really defines you're sexuality...only you can do that yourself... so...lads, if you're worried about wearing them...thats your problem...

I don't know, if you go into certain bars wearing those overtly gay bad boy's there is every chance you would (at the very least) get pulled off!

:-D
