Bought one of these 6 years ago from Argos. Used daily to feed a Chinese family of 8. Still going strong and no less quality than a more expensive or Asian brand.

These are brilliant for the money, although the non stick coating can come off the inside if you are heavy handed when removing the rice. Recommended though!

Jook is a Chinese word which when translated means "Congee" I'll let you look up what that is if you don't already know!

Mine takes too long to switch from cook to warm, so ends up burning on the bottom, maybe I'm doing something wrong ?
