Looks like plenty of stock. Few unhappy reviews but most are happy. This wok may not rock but should work and for the price worth a punt so reserved one. With most such pans it is good to wash and then rub with plenty of oil then put it on a very hot flame and leave in the oven (not too hot for the handle) for a while. For future washing up, scrubbing well under a hot tap with a brush and leaving a little oil on should suffice. Hundreds of Chinese recipes in the youtube channel below which I have been following for a few years, check out his earlier ones for classic dishes.

Picked on up. Thought it might be small but it's a good sized average wok. Quality seems good too, go for it.

it's non stick, i doubt you should be seasoning it as you describe, that is for steel woks, heating it very hot or putting it in the oven is probably a bad idea.

I didn't mean leave it on a hot flame for a long time and as I said put it quickly in a oven that is not hot, just warmed up, for a while to soak up the oil. I wouldn't use lots of washing up liquid on pans in general and these cheap non-stick coatings will come off if washed aggressively so best to leave them oily. One alternative with all pans with non-permanent non-stick coating is to scrub off all the coating and let layers of burned food build up over time into solid carbon layers which is much healthier. I've done that with a few pans but it takes ages and is not for the faint hearted but if you have old pans you can try. Don't scrub off layers of burned food by washing up, just rinse and lightly brush, and as they build up they will transfer heat slower and better and the natural carbon coating is non-stick and gives a better taste to the food too. That's why many chefs love their burned and unwashed black old pans. I think I will take a wire scourer and strip the thin teflon(ish) coating off of this one anyway and burn some food with it.

got this yesterday as a present for the mother...she wasn't too impressed at first because its a 'typical mans present' but she thinks its good quality and fantastic value.
