Great find - got to be one of the cheapest deals I've seen for a slow cooker?

Edit: Just had a look and Argos has got some excellent prices on the slow cookers. This one has been listed on HUKDs before and reached 430° at £9.95 - by yourself Holly100! Comments on the previous Cookworks deal here:

Personally think that this one looks better(!), is now half price at £14.99 and currently £34.24 on Amazon:
this any good ?
this any good ?

Of 204 ratings, its got an average of 4.7 out of 5.
Nice Reserved
Yeah it is excellent, we got it last time.
Sadly out of stock anywhere near me. But great price.
thanks op, went with this one myself
Its a 4.5 ltr instead of 3.5 ltr although it is £20
Got this on the last deal at £9.99, and it's superb!
It's great, as all slow cookers are I guess, for chilli, curries, casseroles (with dumplings on top, hmm!), allowing you to use cheap cuts of meat, that will become really tasty and tender. The big advantage of course is that they are economical, and practical, just pop everything in, in the morning, (I'd advise you quickly brown meat first) and by the time you come home, you'll have a lovely 'melt in the mouth' meal, rather than perhaps resorting to a ready meal (not that they're all bad!).Our's get's a lot of use, and was £10 well spent, so at this price, it really is the best, and most useful appliance you'll buy for £8!!, Voted HOT! All I can say is get one while you can!
Managed to reserve one!! Many thanks, been looking around for one for ages...
I was robbed - paid £9.97 for this a couple of months back. Excellent product BTW.

Tesco have a £9.99 one that's almost identical.
excellent, we also got it last time
out of stck near me.
this any good ?

Yes. Used an Xmas voucher to get one.

Very handy if I'm going to be late home as my elderly mum, who has dementia, lives with me. She doesn't have the capacity to organise a meal but soon helps herself if something smells and tastes okay. Same applies when my 18 year old son comes to stay!

I also use it for pot roasting cheaper cuts of beef. Brisket comes out superb if you give it 8 hours bubbling away in Knorr stock with onions & carrots.
Great find, thanks!
Nice find, heat added.

Both the Durham stores still have 2 each if anyone's looking in that area.
Thanks, got the last one in Bearwood.
A few other slow cookers are half price at Argos if this one is out of stock and you have your heart set on one.

Morphy Richards Accents £14.99

Morpy Richards Stainless Steel £12.24

Cookworks Round £9.49

Heat added. £8 is a bargain.
Thanks, got the last one in Bearwood.

I went to get the last one from northfield and someone had stolen it!!! How are your snails by the way
