Anyone know if the juice out of these is any good? I mean sometimes whole fruit juice can be kinda bitter, and the stuff in the cartons probably has sugar added.

I'm asking because my parents would probably love one of these, but I don't want to waste £20 if could taste funky.

Voted hot because its a good deal anyway.

From my experience pure fruit juce from a juicer tastes great. Certainly not bitter.

Bought one a few weeks ago from Lidl for £8.99 and sitting on the couch drinking some juice made from it right now :-D

although our one is white not silver, i'd suggest having a look in a Lidl next time if you want a cheap juicer

Bought exact same juicer about a month ago - now gathering dust in a kitchen cupboard. Nightmare to clean - very fiddly with crevices etc. difficult to reach. Juice-collecting 'jug' drips during use. Pretty poor quality/finish all round really. Good price - I paid £10 more - but would suggest spending a little more and researching the 'cleanability' of potential purchases first (I didn't and wish I had). Apparently the composite parts are 'dishwasher safe' - so maybe not such a pain if you use this method to clean it every time.

I used to juice all the time and cleaning was a right pain.

If you do a weekly batch and freeze the juice then you only need to clean once a week and can wake up to an apple/carrot juice every morning

I bought one of these a few months back - A nightmare to clean.

Not worth the hassle :(

I am a sucker for use once kitchen gear. This time I WILL resist :D

Yep, my juicer went the same way as my sandwich toaster, panninni maker and steamer - resting in peace in the kitchen cupboard after the first couple of goes.

It is a pig to clean, but I tend to do stuff in batches in one go.

In fairness, the only difficult part is the foil part which is really fiddly, the rest cleans up easily just under a running tap.

Now seems to be 39.99.
