i got this a few weeks ago and its unreal, bung a load of stuff in it on a morning veg and meat etc, throw in a packet of casserole mix and water , put it on low heat and when you get in from work you have got one of the tastiest meals around hot and ready for you.

Can someone tell me what are the uses, advantages of a slow cooker? How does it vary from an electric cooker? How efficient is it interms of electricity consumption? Or pls giv me a link where I can get all the details.

meat is far more tender. Electricity may be slightly more than cooking it quickly in a gas oven but this is more than offset by the fact you can use cheaper cuts of meat.

I've been meaning to get one of these for ages, so this is perfect. I have a £5 voucher too which makes it an extra special bargain!
