You wont find as good a mechanical keyboard for similar money anywhere id wager.

Shame on the long wait for stock though.

Mechanical CHERRY MX switches with a lifespan of over 50 million key presses
Compact layout with integrated Num pad block
Full LED backlight, with 3 modes and 5 brightness levels
NKRO over USB for unlimited simultaneous keystrokes
Super Grip pads and Keyboard stand-offs with rubber feet

You're a gamer. You know that a mechanical keyboard means the difference between winning and losing. The original QuickFire Rapid gaming keyboard was embraced by gamers worldwide because it made the difference. Now the QuickFire TK takes the QuickFire Rapid and put it on steroids! Choose between 3 different Cherry MX switches. Each keycap is UV coated to make it durable. There's full LED backlighting with 3 modes and 5 brightness levels. NKRO over USB means every single keystroke will be registered. An embedded steel plate give you maximum stability and durability. 7 easy-access multimedia shortcut keys save time. A complete numpad lets you get work done while not gaming. The slim and lightweight size gives you plenty of room for your mouse. Great for LAN parties.

It is a full keyboard. It just has the arrows in the number keys section, which can be changed between the two by clicking numlock. Its part of the appeal of the keyboard, as it doesnt take up as much space as a "full keyboard".

The arrow keys are below the number keys on the right :|

They are just integrated with the numpad to make the keyboard more compact.

So I guess any keyboard with a 'fn' key could claim they're 'full keyboard', even if they only have 51 keys: another half of the keys can be a combination from fn+existings ones. lol

Your not loosing any keys, so how is it any less a full keyboard, just because the numpad and arrows are integrated, and not separated into two separate blocks. lol

Anyone know where i can get the laptop cooler in this range

Non standard layout, certainly not a "full sized" keyboard. Shame, I would have voted hot otherwise.

Not for me as i use arrow key for gaming but perfect for wasd users

So you only vote hot if the item suits you, regardless of whether or not it's a good deal over normal retail prices?. Seems a little critical to me that.

I vote hot on anything that I think is worth the heat irrespective of my personal preference. I've just voted hot on an Apple Ipad Mini deal because it's a good deal. It doesn't mean I'm going to sell off my Android tablet and embrace Apple!.

Interesting find, heated

which is better though the TK (which Coolermaster states is the Rapid on steroids) or the Pro?.
#14
I was tempted when I first saw it as it's cheap enough for a mechanical keyboard. But I currently have a similar keyboard layout and am fed up of swapping between 'layouts'. It's a small, but recurrent, annoyance.

Not voting either way.

Had my eye on the Pro for a while but I hate the styling.
Still trying to summon the 'courage' to buy a Majestouch 2 :D

1-3 months delivery too.

No, If it had been a full size keyboard then it would have been a good deal. Its severely compromised due to its non standard layout and to that means, there are better products available within the price range or for very little more. In my eyes, a compromised product does not equate to a good deal, that is why I chose not to vote. If you want me to cold vote just ask.

Find me a mechanical backlit keyboard made of the same quality with original genuine cherry switches in the same price range. You wont. You will be paying £80+ at least id wager.

Clearly the people bemoaning the size of it have never tried to game on a small desk.

I much prefer this layout to the full size one (never use the num pad anyway).

This is a fantastic deal. they don't integrate the arrow keys to save money. It's to make the keyboard more compact for gaming so it doesn't take up as much of your desk where you would use your mouse. Some people want this feature.

i have seen one for £59 (different make and arrow keys seperate) so for gamers who don't use macro keys, mechanical or standard keyboard do u recommend?

Well we cant really tell you which one to get without looking at the other keyboard to compare now can we?

I've just had an estimated delivery of between 6th and 9th of July. Thanks again op. Excellent price for a quality mechanical keyboard. I can't believe this didn't get hotter.

This board is the same size as the very popular TKL models out there. Many people prefer TKL (tenkeyless) size over and above full keyboard size. It is not a "lesser" size by any means (although the arrow keys incorporated into the numpad do diverge from standard TKL) it simply appeals to a different audience.

Feel free to google regarding the benefits of the TKL keyboard size.

I was actually thinking of posting this deal myself :(

HOT, got this myself a couple of days ago, was estimated delivery for 1-3 months but they had 3-4 stock at one stage ordered one and applied for Prime trial, got it next day.
you can really feel the difference with mechanical keyboards, the main thing that got me to buy this keyboard is the full backlit which you dont get without spending another £20-30, although I must admit that the "switching" layouts for the FN and numpad keys can be annoying.

Wow, same keyboard I'm using. It's very very very good except I can't get used to the placement of the arrow keys which I use very often. Best of all doesn't require software to work.

Yeah i'm struggling getting used to switching between num pad and arrow keys but worth it for the small form factor.

For anyone wondering. Even though it isn't in the picture, it is a uk keyboard with a big enter key etc. Also this brown switch version has a white back light.

Great deal OP i have a razor blackwidow at the moment but i was never really happy with it for a number or reasons and this would usually be an instant buy for me but im saving up for the Corsair K70

The arrow keys and alternate uses for the numpad are actually toggled with numlock as well as being usable with function

Dabs had the k70 on offer the other day. I noticed it in an email flyer but i didn't post it because i knew it would get cold as hell just for being a £100 keyboard.

This deal has taken over 3 weeks to reach 100c X)

It was out of stock and estimated as 1-3 month delivery when i ordered. Took just under 2 weeks to arrive.

The Razer Black Widow is often in this ballpark, though never quite this cheap. However, even though it's mechnical and uses cherry switches, it somehow manages to be AWFUL.

Yep that probably would have gone ice cold on this site to be fair £100 would be insane to most people =) but once you have tryed a proper Mechanical Keyboard there is no going back . Damn sorry i missed out on that deal though its £119 most places at the moment

Great price, the point of these smaller keyboards is having your arms closer together for comfort when playing games. I use a TKL and you don't miss the numpad.

You could go down as far as 60% boards if your happy using layers.
