This was posted a couple of months ago but went out of stock quickly, back in stock now. A top cooler!

Succeeding the popular Hyper 212, the Hyper 212 Plus carries on the legacy of providing a great balance of performance and noise level during high and low speed operations.
Hyper 212 Plus is Cooler Master's first cooler to be equipped with an all-in-one mounting solution that includes LGA 1156 and 1366. Direct Contact heat-pipe is now also utilized in this latest update.

Reviews I have read suggest that it is better, that being said, I'll be able to let you know when mine arrives as it will be replacing one of these (which has a broken clip, hence the main reason for replacement).

Cheers. I'm particularly interested in how quiet it might be too.

Thanks :)

I've got one cooling my E5500 that is jacked up to 3.92GHz and idles at 38/27 in Real Temp GT. SpeedFan and Gigabyte Easytune both show 19 degrees.

Did alot of research myself, specifically comparing this to the Freezer 7 Pro.

Let me dig up a very helpful review...

And specifically, regarding noise, it is very quiet at low fan speeds (~35.3dB) and is ~50.1dB at high fan speeds.

I'll refer you to this previous deal for more details:

Pretty much all aspects of the cooler are discussed there.

Conclusion - Definitely purchase this cooler, it offers excellent performance for the price, but measure to make sure it fits inside your case first!

Edit - mine does not have any LEDs on the fan like the product image on this deal does

Mine came with two spare clips, since you can attach a secondary fan on the other side; perhaps worth checking if you have the box lying around.

Cheers for that Rupes :)

It's not hard at all if you've got a bit of experience.

For a complete novice I would describe it as fiddly, but perfectly do-able with patience and preparation.

Any more questions, just ask.

Thanks, I should be able to fit it, I thought I might have to remove the motherboard to get some sort of clamp on there.
