Has this not been posted before at this price?

looks like it was here, slightly cheaper on this today only though. :)

not sure why some people are voting cold. this is the cheapest price for this by some way, as far as i can see. maybe the cold voters could link to where they found it cheaper.

Fantastic case at this price - the cable management and toolless slide-in trays for the HDDs/opticals are worth it alone. Lovely black finish inside if you choose to get the windowed panel to go with it. Much better than the highly regarded Antec 300 I used in my last build. Can't believe you'll find a better case at this price.

Great find, many thanks. Looking to build my own high spec PC over the next six months as funds allow so I am off to a great start with the case. The previous posted deal whilst including the power supply as you previously mentioned is ok but this deal allows one to cherry pick the best components. Heat added & happy christmas.;)

If you're ordering this via scan on their TO offer, have a look at the Antec Truepower New 650W on the same page, going for just over £61 - very high class PSU for the money.

Completely agree with you. Excellent case, used it on my last build and very pleased with it: stylish and understated, good build quality and the 'tool-free' access for drives, etc is good. Although don't go thinking that you can install a graphics card without using the (provided) screws to secure it!

Is it just me or is this no longer available at this price?

marktime, many thanks for the heads up on the Antec Truepower 650 modular PSU, and thanks to jsty3105 for the update. I have spent the last hour looking at reviews and prices and have to say that whilst my knowledge is limited everyone raves about its quality, money wise it's top banana so I have now purchased this in addition..(bang goes the kiddies presents !!)

Could you recommend a quality graphics card, I will be doing a lot of photo/video editing. Budget around £150+ and quality hard drive.

Thanks again to you both.

Personally don't know much about either but the samsung 1tb f3 is quite highly rated rikght now and available for a song. http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ss1tb-samsung-hd103sj-spinpoint-f3-sata-3gb-s-7200rpm-32mb-cache-89-ms-ncq-oem

Another vote for the F3, for price and performance it can't really be beaten atm. Keep your eye on scan's TO page as these come up nearly every day at a reasonable price - seen them as low as ~£35 recently. Be aware, however, that the 3 year warranty is through scan direct and not Samsung and I know some have had a frustrating experience getting replacements if they fail (having said that, don't think scan are any worse than most of the other large e-tailers in this respect).

As for graphics, if you're really not going to be gaming at all, would have thought anything in the NV GT 430/ATI Radeon HD 5670 range would be more than adequate - they're all essentially the same, the individual companies just fit their own coolers and brand them, so best to look at cards that offer longer warranty (EVGA, for example, offer something like 10 years) as a deal breaker.

That current offer on the Radeon 5850 at OcUK (recently been posted here) is a cracking deal for a quality gaming card but probably way over the top for your requirements. Having said that, would keep you going for years without needing to upgrade and might be a good long-term investment. Better hurry, though, think they're only on offer for pre-order at that price, after they arrive in stock they are supposedly going up a tenner or so.
