We have had a very similar model without the ice maker - been excellent so far... except one thing - I wish the freezer section was bigger - as we struggle to get stuff in. All depends on usage I guess. Heated.
Any idea which model karcher they are sending?

handy when your beko product goes on FIRE. would never buy beko or b&q's cata products. accidents waiting to happen

Nonsense. The Beko tumble dryer I bought is excellent with deservedly good reviews on Amazon. Unlike other brands which have been recalled due to fire risk as lint was catching fire on the heating element.

The Karcher to put it out when it sets on fire?
This brand should have been banned for risking the lives of consumers!
Let's buy Hotpoint, Whirlpool or Indesit shall we?
Oh, they have recalls due to fire issues.
Let's go for Bosch then... But they had fire issues with their dishwashers a few years ago.
You tell me... What should we go for?

A washing line probably wont set on fire. Washing dishes by hand would avoid electrical fires.
had indesit broke down after 13 months got beko no probs but what k is it
There are lot more freezers now with a min 0c to -10c rating suitable for the garage/outhouse

I got lucky with the curved version for £670 on Amazon Prime day. Coming in the next hour :D
I was looking at the curved samsung tv's in currys last night and i honestly didn't like them...I'm no tv expert and the sales guy just kept saying "better viewing angles" but we sit straight on to our tv. Is there any reason you went for curved, I'm genuinely interested as I thought curved was just a fad like 3D that would soon die away?

Honestly, i only got it for the looks. Absolutely zero research went into as to whether it provides a better viewing experience or not. Plus the price i got it at. Had i had to pay £150+ extra i would've stuck with a flat screen.

If everyone held back technology, we wouldn't progress.

True, but by the time the content (ie.4k, HDR, etc) arrives, most will have moved onto the next model (or the one after that!). When it comes to TV's, it seems almost all can't display their best due to being limited by content available.

8k would be out by then

Bought a Sony 50" tv from Co-Op Electrical. Good price but issues with obtaining the "free warranty" they had advertised. The Co Op just didnt want to know. Didn't answer my emails. Managed to sort it out myself in the end so I would advise anyone buying they are a rubbish supplier.
Might be worth adding the 5 year warranty for £57 available on this set, still would be a decent price including the warranty.

It's my understanding from reading reviews that oled is far better than LED. Now, I know LED (and thus TV) has HDR, but I was under the impression that oled is so superior to LED that it blows the HDR function out the water. Am I wrong? For this price you could get a decent oled TV. Plus, doesn't HDR need a HDR source? There aren't really any HDR sources out yet, and when they are out surely oled HDR would be out and reasonably priced - in which case, is this TV expensive and redundant? There isn't a point in paying a premium for an HDR TV for future proofing if by the time the source is out, much better TVs are available. Am I right?

There is 2 HDR devices out, Samsung 4K HDR bluray player and Panasonic HDR bluray player.

OLED v HDR set depends how the individual sees and likes the different visual fidelity.

I see normal price is about £800. What makes this machine worth double other machines that have similar load capacity and spin speed?
Looks uber cool

It may look cool but it actually gets quite hot.

They have the confidence to offer a five year warranty, making a worst possible scenario cost of under £2.20 a week.

What is the worst possible scenario cost of the machines at half the price?

Like the way people are still voting this hot :-)

Had this machine for nearly 2 months now and have to say it's superb, build quality and wash performance are second to none with clothes coming out almost dry and don't seem to really need ironing either!

Delivery service was very good with it unpacked and transport bolts removed - was easy for me the level and had it up and running in around 15 mins. - it barely moves at all when spinning at 1400rpm due to the weight of the thing!

Great price and a quality machine,However a 2 year guarantee,no matter how good they are is the down side of this deal.Paying this much i'd want a 5 year guarantee at least.
Pay with a credit card then...
Haven't got one
You should get one: boost your credit score, allow you to pay T+(45-56) and gives you Section 75 protection (i.e. more than the two years and upto six years)
Why do i need a credit score?
You don't need one but should you ever to wish to buy a house or borrow some money then you may have issues getting it
I own my house.
If i haven't got the money to buy something i either save up or do without.
I have the same mentality. I've recently started thinking about buying a house, did you get a mortgage? and did you have any trouble getting one if you did?
I've had a Miele washing machine for about 7 years and it has been superb. I have 4 kids so it is very well used.

When we moved house about 5 years ago it failed - it developed a leak as it must have been damaged in the moving process despite using the supplied transportation bars. It was still within it's 5 year warranty at the time. I called Miele, they came out the next day and repaired it no questions asked. It's been great since, cleans really well and still looks as good as new. It was pricey but I expect it to last 20 years.

Ultimately you get what you pay for and when you work out the per year cost I don't think it was overly expensive.

Although we now have 2 machines as the Panasonic is fixed we're attracted more to the Beko, as the wash is far superior than the Panasonic, but with 4 children Panasonic will not be made redundant just yet :3
I've been using this Beko washing machine for a week and I must say that so far I am very pleased with the wash results and overall performance. The freedom to adjust the spin speed, temperature settings and delayed time are super additions which were not available on my Bosch washing machine. Also the time remaining display is very handy. I am mainly using the Daily Quick wash programme set at 1200 spin speed/40 degree wash. Takes 50 minutes on a full 9kg load. I have also found that if I select Spin and Drain after the main wash it makes the washing come out of the machine a lot dryer, it just adds an extra 5 minutes to the whole wash, ideal if your drying washing inside on clothes airers. Don't forget to register your new Beko washing machine online.
Googled my U11 error code http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fault-codes/laundry-fault-codes/3328-panasonic-na-series-washing-machine-fault-codes as it would not drain. Cleaned out the filter etc and still no joy so called Panasonic as I also have the 6 year warranty. Woman asked if I had done a 'Service Wash' on it. The service wash is basically put it on cotton setting and then run with no clothes or detergent at 90 deg C. Told her a little white lie and said of course I had, as I wanted it booked in. Got home tonight and did the service wash and its working again, for now....
Reall like the Beko equipment, was going to buy their Heat Pump Tumble Dryer. Washing machine sounds good too.

Lol, that's funny, tbh there all the same..
I have bought this machine because my top of the range Panasonic VX bought from John Lewis with a 6 yr warranty has failed, been waiting 3 weeks for a part we have 4 children and this delay is unacceptable, hence why I bought this machine to tie us over(you soon get sick of washing clothes in a bowl) they rang me the day this was delivered (unbelievable) but cannot come out till next Thursday to fit it...
There all the same mate there not interested whoever you deal with, you don't get a better combo than Panasonic and John Lewis..but there still useless
My Pana NA168VX has just broken down too! Error code of U11. Engineer coming Monday to investigate. How is the Beko not as good? Cheers.

Lol. Engineer just left..new pulley fitted, last one was bearing s which right it off..

Same model as ours, did you get the 6yr warranty too?

Engineer said the Beko will outlive the Panasonic even with a 6 year warranty, lol...he doesn't rate the Panasonic at all (vistel, Turkey) was mentioned..

Beko does a far better wash although the Panasonic is very quite on a normal wash beko has a little motor groan...

Shame as he could of told you the code while he was here..he said our code was u13 which was something to do with draining? But could of been the pulley which set it off?...

Hi ZaGaz, looks like it's different model...
ummm.....they are integrated so it doesn't come with any coloured door on it. you just get a plain grey door with holes and brackets in it which allow you to affix any kitchen cupboard door to it. without a kitchen cupboard door it would look a bit rubbish and you might struggle to open the door as it might or might not have a built in handle on it.
Daft question perhaps but the pics and vids have different front doors... What does this actually come with as mine will be free standing behind a cupboard... cheers Gaz

i don't think samsung fridge engineer are that good, they don't do fault findings. they just come and replace parts they think its wrong. i already book in a 5th visit because 3rd visit did not cure the problem. also i book in a 4th visit but they never turn up, waited nearly a whole day for nothing. hopefully they will cure it this time before the warrenty runs out.

Candy machine just over 3 years old, broke the first time exactly one week after the 12 month warranty ran out (drum pulley to be exact). Cost £100 to repair. Broke again today just over two years later, drum not turning again! Spin performance has always been appalling... Never buying a candy or cheap machine again.

This one looks great though, fingers crossed!

The Hoover we've just chucked out lasted 15 years, I doubt any of the current ones would do that though since they were bought out & of course they're all a lot more complicated now.

Dunno about the Hoover you mention but the Samsung are amazingly quiet, almost silent in use in fact even when spinning at 1600rpm so if you're on E7 & in a flat it might be worth considering noise levels too.

If that Hoover had been available a few weeks ago at that price I'd have bought it but ended up with the Samsung 1600 8kg instead which I'm extremely pleased with. Not only does it do an amazing job I also use half the normal amount of detergent & the bubble soak option is fantastic for stains too

Which model Samsung did you get, thks in advance
