Based on Neil Gaiman’s international best-selling book and helmed by The Nightmare Before Christmas director Henry Selick, is the first high definition, stop-motion animated feature to be shot in 3-D. In the film, a young girl (voiced by Dakota Fanning) walks through a secret door in her new home and discovers an alternate version of her life. On the surface, this parallel reality is eerily similar to her real life--only much better. But when this wondrously off-kilter, fantastical adventure turns dangerous, and her counterfeit other mother (voiced by Teri Hatcher) tries to keep her forever, Coraline must count on her stubborn determination, bravery, the aid of her neighbours and a talking black cat to save her real parents and some ghost children and to get back home.
Special Features
This limited edition contains 2 discs and 4 pairs of 3D glasses, as well as:
- 2D theatrical feature
- 2D version audio commentary
- Deleted scenes
- The making of Coraline
- 3D version is on disc 2

If it isnt in blu-ray, how can it be 3D?

It has those awful red and blue cellophane lenses, that make it a coloured movie, the only other colour you can see is yellow.

Thats mad was just watching this on Sky Movies Family...i found it a bit scary

My daughter hated this movie - she was crying half way through and had nightmares for a couple of days. She was only 5 at the time, but the likes of Doctor Who doesn't bother her, yet this did.

Voting hot, just thought it was worth mentioning ...

Agree it is creepy in parts, but that's why it's a PG not U like most animated films. Neil Gaiman has a fairly dark mind - which as an adult I love but as a 5 year old probably wouldn't have ;)

I'm an 'adult' and I thought this film was a bit freaky - but an excellent and psychedelic film though!

I watched this film on xmas day and loved it. I also have the Nightmare Before Xmas so i hoped Coraline was as good.............it was better. My daughter watched it on her own and was a bit scared but she was ok watching it with the adults. There were over 20 of us so she felt safe lol

This is my 10 yr old's favourite film... she and my wife loved it. (Scary for kids, but so is Dr Who!)

What is the point in hitting the expired tag anymore if this website doesnt put it as expired when it is?!
