Does the 3D version come with decent glasses? I wear glasses as it is, and the tiny 3D ones that came with another film would not fit under or over my existing glasses very well, making the film impossible to watch in 3D.

Great film and good to watch in the evening.

will this work on any HDTV? If so, what is the point in bringing out expensive 3d tvs?

It's a great film and worth the money
...but haven't the DVDs been this price for a few months now?

They come with the flimsy cardboard type. You'd never get them over a pair of glasses sadly.

Thanks. Is it possible to buy decent 3D glasses, or are people who wear normal glasses denied a life of ever watching 3D films at home? :-D

Yes, this will work on any TV since it's based on the old fashioned red-green (or other colour pair) principle. This makes the 3d effect less realistic and removes most of the original colour.

If you saw any of the recent channel 4 3d programmes you'll know the effect.

The new 3d tvs use a different principle (similar to that used now in cinemas) so the image quality is much better. But without changing TV the red-green method is the only one possible.

I bought this for Christmas on blu - ray, I'm afraid the 3d element is a joke. It simply doesn't work. Good film though!

I can qualify it further by saying that you have to watch it in the dark for the best results, these results are still very dissapointing!
