Don't know the make but it's expandable so if you need a twin system you might as well buy two sets and then register with the base. you can have up to 5 handsets. Saw instore but available online too.

Sorry I can't help as I haven't bought any. Perhaps someone that already bought one could help.....

Uniden is a decent telephone make. I have had Uniden cordless phones in the past and they were fine. No knowledge of this model though

Uniden was a big manufacturer, CB radio-wise, in the early 1980's

This might sound like a daft question, but...... Does anyone know of a phone that can recharge itself direct from the power supplied from the BT landline (rather than keep it plugged in as my mains plug is some way from my BT line plug). Sarcastic and genuine comments welcome.

Not enough power on the line to charge batteries or power radio signal for the base. Need to keep juiced up, even if the handset is charged, if the base is switched off, it's useless

Does anybody know if this will work on a cable phone line ie not BT?!

Just bought a few yesterday from Asda. Bargain for the price they are at, however they dont have a back light so you need daylight or switch on the light to call or answer the phone.
They come as single units paired to their own base station but you can pair them all to the same base station and use the other bases as simple charging stations.
Ring tones are a bit naff but what do you expect for 7 quid.
The phones don't share a phonebook when pair so you have to put all your numbers into each phone seperately.
Other than that they work great. I have only just activated Called ID (24hr Activation time) on the line so we are waiting to see if it comes on or not.
