Cordless Phone for a Fiver @ M&S £5.00

stephenburtonstephenburton

Just bought the twin set for £12 which is a bargain. For those who want a single phone, delivered to store for a fiver, you can't go wrong.

I got one of these at £4.99 it is a Binatone and the "tone" was unbearable. Quickly returned.
If you dont mind paying a bit more WHSmiths have some good BT phones in the clearance section - singles and double handsets.

When you answer the phone the tone stops. Do you realise this?

Some related items include answering machines: single (£9.50) and double (£12.50)

    Nice find.

M&S 2 year guarantee also... at a fiver, you can't go wrong.

Anyway if you need two it's just easier and cheaper to buy 2 of this (or 3-4). Just use the base without pluggin in landline and register handsets with the main base. I have triple handsets but I use only 2 stations for charging anyway.

Anyone know what phone this actually is - before being rebranded as an M&S?

A simple click on the link shows a picture of the phone and it clearly says Binatone, so I guess it's a Binatone.

Got one of those a few weeks back. Fine for a basic phone at this price.
Be aware though that the ringtones are not the loudest.

What is it with phone deals from M&S today? Is everyone jumping on the M&S phone bandwagon.

I think you can only do this if the phones are DECT compliant - not sure if this phone on this deal is?

Does anybody know if this is a Binatone model as I only buy Binatone?!

Bit of a strange question, but.. can I use these handsets to talk to each other over a short distance, like we used to be able to with non-wireless phones within the same house?

Save yourself a tenner and use two used cans connected by a bit of string.

Cheaper than a phone extension lead in B&Q!
