this would be cool on christmas day, but its a little bit expensive for an item which would probably then end up in the back of the cupboard. If I had spare money I would buy it but unfortunately I havent :-( violins out please lol

Thing is - I thought this too, but could be useful for normal sunday dinners and barbecues

I think I'm with the majority - it looks like a very useful thing to have but not for 35 quid

Polycarbonate lids will start to become opaque with time and washing. Not voted

Good luck Salmonella!

Jeez - this is the dining room, not the Toby carvery!

How long you planning to keep things hot for?
#15
Salmonella in carrots, and in one hour??? You'd have to wipe your **** with it first.

And listen here OP, you leave Toby Carverys alone, magnificent places :)

How long have you been looking for a cordless, rotating buffet server?

What other bizarre items are you looking for?

Been looking for a buffet server for my mum to use for the christmas dinner table as she is cooking for a lot of people. The fact it is cordless and rotates are only fantastic bonuses that will make me lots of friends when I brag about them in the pub.

The next bizarre items I am looking for are a telephone that I can take out of the house with me, a box that shows moving pictures and a 'horseless' carriage. A long way off I know.......

I'm looking for a corn on the cob that doubles as an umbrella. In blue.
#19
Thanks OP, looking for something like this for a while, good price and not too big.

Now you are being silly - they'll never sell anything like that in Netto!

I'd like a computer that you can connect to all the other computers in the world and send messages to people. But even if they did it, it wouldn't catch on.

I'd like a computer I can connect to the one in the bedroom without needing a PhD. Your idea is ludicrous.

I want this:

Actually I think maybe that's what happens when I'm not looking - it would explain a lot.

As for connecting computers my Vista laptop and Ubuntu Linux PC loved each other, but now I've changed to Vista & XP they don't speak at all!
