UPDATE: I've just realised you get a 'free' 2 GB flash drive in the box; that makes it even more of a barg!
UPDATE 2: This is now the 2nd bestselling software on Amazon UK. I've finally cracked and bought a copy myself, and I'm REALLLLLLY tight.

This package has got an average of over 4 / 5 stars from reviewers on amazon, which is about as good as it gets for software reviews.

I'm thinking of buying one too, I mean it's £32 and it's the best sub-£100 package....almost too cheap to resist....(even though I have Photoshop CS3).

Might get it for a future christmas present.

It's good to see so many peeps buying this, it makes me feel slightly less guilty about the £50,000 (minimum) that Amazon lost due to my 29p album post.

Please everyone buy a copy to make up for it.

In fact go mad, buy two.

It later appeared in the telegraph, daily mail, mirror, BBC news, Sky, NME, and infinite other websites and programmes across this filthy planet. Eamonn Holmes talked about it on Sky morning TV - now there's fame for you! HotUKdeals is taking over the chuffin worrrrrld....

Paint Shop Pro, for me went off the boil around version 7 and I've not liked the Corel versions but we use it at work.

You can get free alternatives like paint.net which is smaller, lighter app, free and imo better. http://www.getpaint.net/

Or if you want something a bit more heavy duty then Gimp is free and very good http://www.gimp.org/ more akin to photoshop editing

Also Sumo is free web based editor, one of the best online
http://www.sumopaint.com/web/

Ok no free usb drive, just good old fashioned free !

does anyone know if I will be able to install this on both our laptops we have at home? or will it know its been installed on one already ie does it authenticate with the company when installed?

Firstly, that's from the UNITED STATES, and it is the OEM version. Basically a disk in a paper sleeve with a printed sheet of installation instructions.

So no manual, no 2GB drive, it's just the software. And it's the american version, so I don't know if the licence is valid in the UK for helpdesk/upgrade purposes.

The version in this deal is the full UK retail version.

Good price. I use version X at the moment and have been waiting for X2 to drop down in price before I ordered it which I have just done.

Plus you have to hope you don't get stung for import duty.

Voting hot on this.

Brilliant software, have used it for donkey's years now, and the latest version has some fantastic features.

Would buy this, but already have it.

VAT only if it turns out to cost more than £18 incl. p&p. No import duty on computers or software and none on other imports of less than £105.

For those who have tried both, how does PSP compare with Photoshop Elements? They are both around the same price.
#24
I won't buy from Corel again - I bought X2 standard a week before this ultimate edition came out (its just X2 with full vista support and more camera RAW format support). They wanted more than it cost me to buy X2 just to upgrade - Very disappointed - should have been free (or at the most a very nominal cost).
#25
Does anyone know if you get a decent printed manual with this?

After I got stung for about £18 pounds by the PO when I bought a £25 HDDVD from playusa.com, I am very wary of buying anything from the States now :?

You should do, considering it's their flagship product, but I don't know for sure. You will get the manual in .pdf format so you can print it off yourself, but you'd be better off buying one of the books about this software, Amazon sell plenty.

For example Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 for Photographers by Ken McMahon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Paint-Shop-Pro-Photo-Photographers/dp/0240520890/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1245776214&sr=8-5
