Good alternative to Photoshop (some people swear it's better) and a very good price. (BTW, Paintshop is Photoshop Plug-in compatible).

They still have this in their T&C's
Corel is entitled to:
- install updates without giving the user any notice
- define some updates as 'mandatory updates' and revoke the user's licence if they are not installed within ten days
- monitor how you use the product and to share that information with anybody they feel like
- share your personal information with anybody they feel like.
- access, utilise and alter the "existing functionality" of your computer, including changing any default settings they choose to.

if anyone says this is better than photoshop they are a noob and should turn off their PC and never turn it back on
#4
Or try Gimp 2
It's free and more user friendly than earlier versions.

Though in fairness it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

It's ridiculous, I'm surprised they don't claim copyright ownership on any materials created using their program.

As a Picasa user, how does this compare on the photo-organising front? Things like face recognition etc.

I have to use Gimp 2 at work because there aren't enough Photoshop licenses and it's so frustrating. It's literally gimped.

Fantastic price...... For the above photoshop a$$ lickers.... as a proffessional graphics print shop we use both corel and photoshop. Corel has some great plug and is significantly more user friendly. Only elements is useable for someone without experience or a degree in graphics design. the CS version of photoshop are far too complicated for most. Corel is user friendly, powerful, has some great tools and is photoshop file friendly.... Oh and under 10% of the price of photoshop....

For the average user this wins hands down every time...... To say Elements is better than this is a joke

I think that Corel PSP is fantastic software. The X2 version that I have is so intuative and for this price for the X3 is brilliant.

I am currently using PaintShop Photo Pro X3. The only bad thing about it is the name. Great product and for this price its an absolute steal.
