great spot, insane price for this memory.

i've already snapped up some 2gb ballistix c3 5300 @ £80 from overclockers for my main rig and i think i'll grab these for my htpc.

great price...memory is getting really cheap.

Yeah, i've no need for it myself really but couldn't resist this one - one of the best 667Mhz sets there is at no-brand price. The actually had the 1Gb sticks for £28 (so you could add £2 worth of filler and get for £23) but they sold out in no time at all.

Excellent price. I sold the exact same kit on eBay about 6 weeks ago for over £90 and that was second hand! I didn't expect to see 4GB of quality RAM for under £100 so soon. I placed an order for two sets earlier on. :)

Thats good to know :) Not sure if I'm keeping mine, I already have 2GB and not certain how the motherboard will cope with 4 - so mine might be heading that way :whistling:

I hate this site - what am I going to do with an extra 2GB of memory????? Still it was a bargain so I had to have it :w00t:
Will having 2GB really make my 1GB machine run any faster? Anyone care to comment?
If not I suppose I could always sell it on Ebay for more than I paid for it!

I take it you are swapping out the 1Gb you have with this?

Answer:
With XP - not noticable most of the time, but when using photoshop, games, or many things at once, yes, it will most certainly be noticable.

With Vista - without a shed of doubt. I've used Vista with 512MB. really best stick with XP at that. 1GB - works fine, but fills up rapidly. 2GB - seems very good amount. I've bought a kit myself, I reckon I may end up ebaying it or selling a complete system, but I'm 100% convinced this is a good deal regardless!

17 left now, and ebuyers prices fluctuate when stocks get low, so I'd order now if you are interested

It’s quite easy to use over 1GB of RAM with XP in which case having 2GB will make a dramatic difference when multi-tasking; it depends what programs you use.
Apart from that this RAM has better timings than normal but that is only going to give you a small but unnoticeable boost in performance ~2 to 3%

bf2 gamers, 2gb is a must

Should be OK for me then - I'll put my 1GB in son's machine and put 2GB in mine. Hope to get more done as I often have Word, Excel, Photoshop and the web all open at the same time. Might even help me with DOD:Source too.

Down to 9, last chance saloon now. I doubt there will be any left by 10 am tomorrow.

I'd been looking for another 2gb of the ballistix CL3 but now I've seen this deal I think I can live with 4GB of CL4 instead.

I guess it pays to be an insomniac sometimes ;O
