excerlent drive & great price. Last one I got from Play but they are £17.99 on play at present.

only minor issue is you can lose the cap but corsair will send out replacments if this does happen for free.

Capless deigns are better, but kudos to a company that happily sends out replacement caps free. I doubt many other companies would.

I've got one of these, and it's got pretty good transfer rates, if you're moving around large files.
If you've got lots of small files it can be slower than most normal flash drives.

Having said that it's pretty indestructible. My dog thinks it's a chew.

Ive got a 2 an 8 and a 16 GT of these, they are a pain if your putting them in a USB socket next to an occupied USB socket as they are so fat!
Ive had a few break too as there isnt anything supporting the joints on the PCB because of the rubbery casing. The GT is pretty fast, i had it as a bootable XP drive but now it boots/installs Ubuntu.

(they were all FOC before anyone asks why i bought more)

I will try and get a cap for my 16GB GT though, cheers for the info

This is a solid drive, but is extremely slow to transfer files this applies to both my desktop PC and my new Macbook Pro. I have reformatted the drive several times but I have never achieved anything faster than 6MB/s for files greater than 2GB.

on average thats not too bad for write speed on a pen drive. My sony micro vault just done 5.4 and my GT done about 8 but awesome read speeds of 30MB/s...My 100GB portable icy box slaughtered them put together and done 26MB/s write speed....

outcome...get a portable HDD, they are resonably cheap, very fast and hold a lot more data
