also £13.98 on dvd.co.uk http://www.dvd.co.uk/Hw/Corsair-Flash-Voyager-USB-flash-drive-8-GB-Hi-Speed-USB/COR-CMFUSB2.0-8GB/product.htm but i had a bad experience with them amazon is a much better seller. but yeah congrats on the find oh and dont worry about the title that was copied off from Amazon. Just realised dvd.co.uk and blahdvd are same company. They also have another name Addonsworld and Base.

I guess the cause of the problem was Royal Mail - and they weren't too good at sorting things out when you reported it as not delivered?!

Why do you feel the need to wash it so often? Does it attract dirt or something?

No that was in October last year, maybe they improved now basically i made a mistake when i ordered from Addonsworld off the amazon marketplace as i did not realsie they charge delivery per item as I ordered a qauntity of 2, 1 GB RAM sticks I phoned them up to cancel my order they said they havent received my order yet and they put a notice to cancel my order when they get it. Few days later i get emails saying item despatched, bank account charged etc i Rang again and they assured me the order was cancelled. Couple of days later got the package and had to return the item. So the process took like two weeks to sort out.
Maybe im just an unhappy customer out of their thousands who did have a good experience they do seem to have a hi positive feedback score on Amazon.

Will be a USB mass storage device. Should work with XP, Vista, 7 and Linux all without any drivers.

I have had a 4GB Voyager for about 3 years now (I think). Left it in my trouser pocket one day and it came out of the washing machine 100% OK  Works as before and no rust.

Lid is a little loose nowadays though so not sure it would survive the same again. I lost the original lid and Corsair have a form to order replacement lids free of charge

In one review they ran over it in a car(!) and it was still OK.

shame its an old and ugly and large design

you wont be able to use your adjacent USB port for other devices at the same time
#16
even without the lid it survives the wash.

I manage to, just.

These live upto the marketing for durability, mine's had a desk dropped on it, has been stood on and has survived a maching machine/tumble dry. It is also a good speed, not the fastest, but alot faster than the average USB stick, and this is a good price, voting hot.

I had one of these, washed it and stuff, it lasts for a while but mine failed all of a sudden after 3years, it cost more to send it back to the manufacturers in the USA for a replacement than it does to buy a replacement U3 Sandisk Titanium. So I did the latter and have never looked back. The Sandisk Titanium is weatherproof and almost indestructable, drove my land-cruser over it just to test it and it works fine.

So overall, the Voyagers do not last especially if it is sensitive information you have but are really good for short-term storage

Did you come to that conclusion just because one failed on you? I've never heard of the many other owners saying theirs did...
