  As always check your Motherboard is compatible, the crucial scanner will do all the work and will tell you wat spec is compatible

  Heatsinks on RAM, except for stuff like fb-dimms or the old rambus stuff provide no noticeable performance advantage.

  yes, but limited lifetime warranty via corsair themselves, had to rma some vengeance a couple of months back and replaced within 10 days.
