Yes it is very expensive for what it does but it link in to the corsair software to give some cool RGB effects.

I have looked on YouTube at the reviews and it seems it performs fairly well as a gaming mouse pad.

then it's not really a deal then is it?

its a quality mouse pad that uses the CUE software to customise lights, which can also be synced to other corsair bits, such ad laptops and mice. granted its more for show than anything else, but this is cheaper than what I paid for my nephews one, so heat from me.

Why do you need a mousepad? I haven't used one since rollerball mice. Is there an advantage over a normal desk surface?

I'm a Corsair fan with the keyboard and mouse, but I really can't justify £45 for a flat piece of plastic and some lights

if it's cheaper than elsewhere, then yes, it is a deal.

It really needs some Star Wars branding or character on it, to fool people into thinking it's worth the money.

Ooohh! Can they have a Boba fet one with green LEDs please?

And also they should make sound effects... Its already a novelty item with a pointless function.
