Always someone who says pay extra... I can't purchase that, as my matx case wouldn't fit the evga psu thats 18x15cm. This rm650 is 16x15cm which just about sits in my case.

Good deal, just wish I could find a decent deal on the 750 or 850 versions

Cheapest for the 850 would be around 100 via flubiting the amazon price. Other than that their prices remain rock solid. I think its because 750 850 is used for crossfires or sli's so more demand.

Hot, just installed one of these the other day, paid £79 from dabs. This is a super quiet psu, under medium-low loads the fan does not spin up, ideal for my livingroom server setup, Flat/stealth cables make the installation easy and tidy.

Go for the g2 750w. Someone left a link to it, here in the comments, 10 year warranty also..

I installed this PSU on Saturday and it's great, this is the best price I've seen it too. It will not make noise under 40% load and is enough for any GPU, though if SLIing maybe close to the borderline.

Also make sure the 24-pin and 8-pin power connectors are pushed right into the PSU, you should hear a slight click as it goes in place.

Was looking at Corsair or XFX but EVGA gets good reviews. Sent request to flubit. Hopefully under 90

Thanks poster! Flubit came through at 64.44 this afternoon. Again I have an mATX case so perfect for the job! I was looking a Semi modular for around £50, so an extra few ££ for another 100w and modular! very happy! X)

I would imagine it's via the Merchant but Flubit as a service providing company would have to help provide you the best satisfaction and thus would sort things out with your merchant for you. ( Like a middle man )

Im thinking of getting i5 that can overclock and gtx 970 running with 5 or 6 hard drives. Would 500w psu be sufficient or would i need something with more grunt?

i5 would take 90 watts, card will take 170, mobo etc around 100. hard drives 6w each. Total: 350-400, to overclock I'd say go for 600-650. Remember psu's deteriorate in supply with age so 600-650 for safe side.

amazon 89.99 - oos at mo but that's what I paid

you could try flubit but I wouldn't bother as for the megre saving against simpler returns isn't worth it

It also has an corsair h100 cooler, an ssd and hdisk

Yeah I'd stay away too rm models are awful. I ended up with no refund from flubit and had to purchase a silverstone instead.
#24
Why did flubit not refund. How old is it. If it's under a year then the retailer has a responsibility to refund or repair. It's covered under warranty for 5 years with corsair anyway

I've been keeping in contact with flubit, but their customer service is awful and agonising. They take a few days to reply, constantly. Thus the refund has been going back and forth.
