Heat added, a great deal indeed!

Excellent price, would prefer 1600MHz for overclocking though, but at this price I'm tempted!!

Nice price. I have 4gb of this in my P55 setup (Wish i'd managed to stretch to an X58 build)
Currently setup at 1600mhz but the timings aren't as tight as these.

I'm from the lower class ddr2.....;)

yep 1600mhz is good for overclocking but 1333mhz @ CL7 is virtually the same as 1600mhz @ CL9 so just loosen up those timing to CL9 (might get CL8 if ur lucky) and you should be able to get 1600mhz fairly easily. OMG over 230 degrees already :D im very happy to help lots of people then :) (smiley face)

It says it's for use with Triple Channel Intel Core i7 memory solutions but I trust it'll sit fine in an AMD setup? Planning on pairing this with the X250.

Then again.... it's 6GB of DD3 memory for £99.... that's a cool deal... now to poke around for windows 7 home premium 64bit

yep it shud run fine in an amd setup i think. you would obviously only be able to use 2 out of the 3 sticks if u want dual channel mode though because amd setups do not support triple channel, which is what this kit is intended for

Status of mine changed to "Awaiting Stock" - how annoying!
#17
... and price has gone up to £152.90.

looks like us HUKDers have sold play out! hi-5 my fellow bargain hunters lol. it was a good deal while it lasted!
#19
anybody who missed out, 2 sets of this may be a good replacement, its exactly the same price but 6gb's would take up all 6 of ur x58's ram slots unfortunately http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/3gb-geil-brush-titanium-aluminum-pc/723525

Showing up as £152.90 now.

I'm happy with my 2gb x2 ddr2 800mhz which cost £32 over a year ago. Good thing I never chase technology as one would normally pay over the odds.

Damn - why do I always miss the deals I need and get the ones I dont. lol.
