beware this retailer, they put things in your basket which you didn't ask for, and then tell you to remove them if you dont want them. in my case it was a magazine and a mug for about £3. Doesn't seem like much, but imagine if they successfully got away with that on every order! Also their stores do not pricematch their own website, which i find to be amazing, as the majority of good retailers match their own websites!

Thanks for the heads up but I've never had any issues ordering from Sports Direct thankfully :)

Just checked, and the scumbags are still doing the same thing:-

Is this even legal, putting things in your basket that you havent asked for and hoping you dont notice them?

Strange as when I check my bag there's nothing extra added - only the bike but I'm buying as a guest using paypal. Not sure if this makes a difference?

they were highlighted for doing this on watchdog last year I think and its currently against the law or going to be against the law for companies to pre tick boxes.

if sports direct are still doing this then you need to contact trading standards. and maybe even email watchdog if you want it highlighted for other customers too

This bike is always half price at sports direct. I bought last years model and on the box it is pre printed half price, think they are only sold for more on amazon. I know the old model did reduce down to £12.

again, im pretty sure thats also illegal aswell. to claim its 50% discount, does it not have to have been sold at a previous time at a certain price, for a certain amount of time.
