Sadly, the majority of people who travel to Spain for only 3 days are scummies on their fag runs! As such, the hotels tend to be crawling with filth.

check out on ice lolly.com, we flying from glasgow to gerona, 24th october, 98pp for 5 nights all inclusive, 40 for one suitcase if required, 25 for transfers, 10 online booking with ryan air, may not be the hottest or most glam hotel but for a short break itll do me!flights to costa brava with ryanair are about 127 for 2 people on the same dates x

Id say the hotel looks fine. Usually they are sh!te when included in such cheap deals. Enjoy.

It says AVERAGE for a reason too. It's still roasting there and should still be low to mid 20's in October.

You'd be rubbish as a CSI...... (_;)

I dont intend on sunbathing this time tho, quite happy to be away from tv, phones, unexpected visitors and the wet and wild weather we are having here, with my meals all made for me, no dishes to wash!
That'll do for me x

come back to this thread in mid october and then we'll see lol

I bet it wont be 25 degrees! I see you chose to ignore the average rainfall. Thats a hell of a lot of rain in one month.

been to ibiza in late october and it was bloody freezing and no chance of sunbathing

Tossa de Mar is a beautiful small spanish town, it's my favourite holiday destination and the destination for my summer holidays for many years. The deal would be a good one based on the location, but unfortunately it's out of season which for a town like Tossa can have quite an impact for those wishing to venture away from the hotel. Put it this way - It's a good job the offer includes dinner because you could struggle for food otherwise.

This hotel is the perfect location for buying cigarettes. There is a tobacco shop just around the corner. I go every year just to fill a few suitcases.

Just came back from Tossa in June/July (different Hotel) and didn't think there was much to do in season. Bet it's quiet in October. If its warm and sunny it might just about be worth it, if it rains you will be walking around a ghost town in the rain and wondering why you didn't go somewhere in the uk instead.

37 euros for 200 lambert. Is that good these days? Would have thought somewhere like Prague would be better, but unsure on duty free / duty paid limits

im really not fussed, to me its better than a dodgy caravan up in the highlands my husband wanted us to go to! it won't be desolate will it? will we still get out for walks etc?

stopped at the oasis tossa before, not a bad hotel :)

Cannot speak for the hotel But Tossa itself is lovely, well I think so. Not sure if this hotel is one of the all inclusive ones. The locals hate them and the clientele who frequent them. Also seen you don't get into Gerona till 21.40. Could have difficulty in getting to Tossa except by taxi. As you need a bus from the airport into Gerona, then one to Lloret de Mar then one onto Tossa . At that time of night I think you can forget it.

Just booked it
I chose Bristol airport as it's closer for me but it does make it £119 and there is a £20 return transfer fee from the airport to the hotel.
Flights out are 06:55-09:10 on the 13th and back are 10:15-11:25 on the 16th so you do get 3 days there and parking at Bristol is £35 for the duration too. That makes it £315 for two of us

I was looking for a city break in the UK (Travelodge or something similar) but I doubt I could get a hotel including breakfast and what it would cost for an evening meal for two people that cheap in the UK

HOtel reviews are good and who cares if it does rain, it's 3 days away from work and I'll be turning off my mobile
:D
