It's back !!

For those who do have a Costco card, or access the twice yearly ridiculously cheap coffee deal is back on again for the three weeks 29th August - 18th September.

Just having a quick search this is currently £11.99 at Makro and £12.67 on Amazon !

Sorry but I don't have a url to the latest offers yet, as Virgin Spam has decided I don't need to see them !

There are jealous small minded people on here who hate Costco deals because they don't have a card, and have expired this because of that.

It hasn't even started yet !

Hey, it looks like you added a start date in for the 29th. Therefore the deal will show as expired until then. It's fine to leave that out though and just have the start date there in the title :) Thanks

It's best to buy coffee beans little and often. I know to each their own etc but if it's roasted over a month ago the oils have generally dried up and tastes quite stale. Obviously adding milk or sugar negates that somewhat.
I honestly don't know what roast date will be on the beans so could be recent but it's more the stocking up on them you would have stale beans no matter who well they are packed.

Don't forget that they are hermetically sealed and vacuum packed. They have at least 18 months code, and are still glossy when the packs are opened after 6 months.

You need a member card, but they can I believe offer a day pass. It isn't difficult to join so long as you either have a business of any kind or work in one of their many professions including the public sector. They're not overly fussy about the details either but there is an annual membership fee.

Love coffee beans but I struggle to use big bags before the taste goes off once they are open. Anyone got any storage tips. I currently put them in a screw top tin for storage.

You can refrigerate or store in a freezer to slow oxidation, but the real solution is to drink more coffee!
