we have this one http://www.thanedirect.co.uk/pressure-pro-569?gclid=CjwKEAjwsvmvBRCT5ozK-dmY7D4SJACyIoJmVm_A-_r-dGK9b7BJaWIRyfnMjcLQp4Q5K1emGlUkvhoCzRPw_wcB

got it for mainly cooking meat in which it shines whether its pulled pork/lamb/chicken or a rare roast, I have always been into pressure cooking but my wife would never use a stove one so electric was a good option for us.

Aldi currently have a similar one costs only £35.
#5
Looks like the Aldi one I've got.

Don't forget the membership, this isn't available to all... Blah blah blah!

Only kidding but thought I'd say it before the jealous Costco hating muppets spout their carp!
#7
Fantastic price for those who have a costco membership. Voted hot.

The Instant Pot is a great product, pressure cooker is good for fast cooking meats, etc. Slow cooker good for curries/stews. It also does great sticky rice :-)

Hi are they in Aldi at the moment? Can't find anything about them on their website . Thanks

I have the 6 in 1, the older version of this that was previously on offer at Costco for 79.98 and I really couldn't be without it. use it nearly every day. Main differences between that one and this seems to be two pressure settings, yogurt function which is a gentle rise in temperature and a nifty lid that clips in when open. Are those three features worth £10 more? Probably!

Been watching this for a while. So it's only a/v for Costco members?
#12
Similar thing sells at Aldi for around £30

We were given one of these as a present. Found it to be very glitchy and not impressed with the results of some stews and soups. It's sitting in a cupboard.

I have the Aldi one, 2014 mode. Mainly used for making porridge, slow cook and meet stew, never have problems.
To me, unless those high-end ones have some special that you need mostly, I'd rather pay £30 for Aldi one with 3 year warranty, and replace it if needed in every 3 year time. With the Costco money, you can buy 3 Aldi ones. No brainer

Do these gadgets also act like a thermos i.e. keep the food warm for a few hours when unplugged?

Same here. Half of our meals went in the bin as the food at the bottom was burnt. Other times the lid didn't close properly and the food didn't cook.

Saying that ours could have been faulty and Costco are excellent for returns so it might be worth a go.

It is, at least the 2014 version.
The 2015 one changes its brand name.I think it is the same thing. Although it is not labelled as pressure cooker any more, the seal and lid are all designed for pressure cookers

Confirmed £89.98 in Bham costco. About 12 left this morning.
They will tell you its the above plus the VAT on the phone, but its not the case when you get to store.
