The one in Haydock is great (and just off the motorway depending on your direction of travel). I buy diesel and it was 3p cheaper than the nearby ASDA one!

Thanks for the info, nice to know they're building a good network of them!

That premium unleaded is about 15p cheaper than vpower ATM :(

Because you need membership to shop with Costco. They make almost no profit on fuel, the profit is in the membership fees.

Does anyone know if you get the executive rewards (usually about 2%) with fuel?

Get the diesel while you can at the price . Won't be long before the government surcharge diesel for being a product of the devil , due to public concern you understand , not to rake in more tax.

That great, but you can't compare this to Asda fuel as Costco only sell Premium Diesel, so compare to Shell v power

No you don't. Its in the terms and conditions http://warehouses.costco.co.uk/terms/

Also they've put the price of Exec membership up so its a bigger gap between regular and executive so we downgraded this year as we were barely making enough of a reward to cover the step-up in the first place.

How far is Bristol Costco from the M5? Looking to join them. Not sure if the 2% top card is worth it. Decisions, decisions.....

I was told they are hoping to add petrol stations to all Costco's - and probably this year - I guess there are some planning applications to go through - but a good saving for members.

Shame the Coventry store doesn't have a petrol station (yet).

they make the profit from the fee you have to pay

They don't. They've already been pulled up for selling it at a loss at one point to get people to buy memberships.

Not complaining, save about 30p a litre compared to v-power!

No 2% cashback for the Executive card, but you do get 1% if you have the Costco American Express card.
#37
I just saw Mourinho there filling up. He wants to pay double what he needs to.

Pretty close - only a few minutes from J18......however, its by the Avonmouth Bridge so a very busy stretch of the M5 that is often jammed solid. If you are passing at off peak times its fine, but at peak times you run the risk of those few minutes becoming half an hour.

Yeah, you need to scan it before it lets you fill up.
