There's something of the Heaven's Gate - Hale Bopp cult about these garments.

Iam sure this guy wore one http://sacredearth.org/images/Marshall_H_Applewhite.jpg

it sounds like its no way as good as a Slanket, my wife's got one and its awesome! Its so thick and warm, well worth its price.

It's not as if you are going to be walking down the street with it on (_;)

Got one for the wife last year for £5. It's used by her on a regular basis (as she seems to be perminently cold), and thankfully it's warn well. Prior to this she used a rug that someone got her, but that shed bits everywhere. The cosyrug hasn't even after numerous trips through the washing machine. Not sure it's worth £7.49, given that you can pick them up in low cost shops (like Wilkos), but it's certainly not a bad product.

Got two of these exactly a year ago for my Brother & his missus for xmas as they had just moved into there first house and were bill saving (as you do when you first move into a new house, then you get used to it). They say they are great - I also paid £10 for one, so at £7.49 this is a bargain!
