Voted hot, though wouldn't think of buying it myself as I never used my garden furniture last year because of the horrendous weather, so no more new garden furniture for me this year I'm afraid but a great find!

Would love one, but dont have the garden for it, or the pool it needs to be by, or a wife that would bring me beer all day while i lazed in the sun.
Id love one of these but even at a huge reduction its too expensive!
Yikes! Just ordered one!!
We're having 16 feet of decking built in our garden and this is just what we've been looking for.
Bye-bye hammock idea, hello daybed!
Hot, hot, hot!
(Just need the weather now...)
When I "click here for a larger image" I expect to see a much larger image, especially when the site is asking for £499 (before applying vouchers).

Massive price drops mean nothing, just got to DFS and see. I find it hard to believe that ever sold at £1400, just long enough in a darkened lodge in Wales so as to keep it legal (assuming they are even doing that). And assuming they were priced at that, they clearly didn't sell. ;)

Sorry but I think the glitz of the quoted original price is over shadowing what is still an expensive product to be buying sight unseen.

And just to finish my moan (sorry!)

"sturdy aluminium frame from an innovative synthetic fibre that's colourfast"
Innovate synthetic fibre? Oh really? What's that then? It's just as bad as those adverts that declare "using latest technologies" when producing a spoon.
its not a legal thing, they're just guidelines about things having to be on sale at regular price for 28 before they can go 'on sale'
lmfao don't be daft!!!
I refuse to use HALFCOST again!
I ordered a TV unit in early Feb! I recived a massive bookcase which they would not collect for over a week!!! I still have not recived the item! :x
Their call centre is often not manned so a lady takes messages for a call back days later!
They are by far the worst internet vendor I have ever dealt with. A right shower. I wish you all luck - You might need it!
I agree - this has to be the WORST company operating on the Internet. Stay away at all costs. Absolutely hopeless customer service. Stay away.
You know when you see something and think "that looks nice".......

Then you read peoples comments saying "Don't deal with this company" and you think "This one will be OK........"

Ordered this on 31/3/09
Email showing "In progress" 1/4/09 - Money taken same day.
Email showing "dispatched" 8/4/09
Rang 17/7 - "will look into it and ring you back" - DIDN'T
Rang 20/4 - "courier refused to dispatch - too big - finding alternative courier or refunding you. Will ring you back." - DIDN'T
Rang today - "Cannot tell you what is happening this week"

Told them I am ringing Credit Card company for a refund as goods not received and they just said "OK - do what you like"!

Should have listened - bummer!
got my stuff fine ---within 5 days of ordering

You mean you ordered this garden bed and had it delivered - or something else?
sold out
I have to add a final footnote to this thread.

Halfcost refused to refund straight away. Rang me 2 weeks later and had arranged another courier. Delivered eventually 8 weeks after it was ordered.

Opened packaging and there were no loose cushions. Rang, emailed, wrote to them all to no avail. Just kept telling me it was a misprint on their website - no cushions so put up with it. Eventually told me I could have a £10 refund when I had already told them that the cushions were £40 plus delivery on another site. Eventually went to Trading Standards and they got involved. We told Halfcost to collect the item and refund the money in full but they stopped talking to us. Eventually the threat of a small claims court got a refund of £50 this month which meant I could go and buy the cushions elsewhere.

Worst company I have every dealt with by a country mile. What a bunch of :pirate: 's!
