I paid £4.99 for my last fleece from Mountain Warehouse? Is this really 6 times better? Of course it isn't - cold.

Well, you've just proved your cheap one's not very good, if you're cold!

Of course it is, your last comment is like saying my new BMW cost £30,000 but you can pick up a new Fiat for £5,000 and of course the BMW is better, just like the North face is better. It comes down to quality.
Its a Polartec fleece, and is better manufacture quality to generic fleece - all the top mountaineering brands use them, you might even find that Berghaus' premium lines also use them.
Admittedly, these NF fleexes used to be ~ £25 on sale, but prices have been creeping up the last few years, and I'd expect them to increase more next year.

It's Berghaus not North face.
I know, do you work for north face?

No, do you work for Berghaus?

Do you both work for Cotswold Outdoor?

Are you talking about yourself? I see no reason to vote Labour, as did the majority of those who voted. I made an informed decision. Making assumptions displays your ignorance. I have heating on when I wish and do not require an overpriced Gortex jacket with a logo on. I, like many can easily afford them, but I would expect to be paid to advertise their products. When I display adverts on my websites, Google pays me, I do not pay them ;)

Major corporation outsources manufacturing to 3rd party company in developing nation, this is new or shocking to you? Please.
Insecure kids wear expensive brands to look cool and fit in with their friends, again this isn't news and doesn't say anything about the manufacturer. 10 years ago these kids wore Berghaus, before that Helly Hansen etc. They all make decent gear although I guess you've never bought any of it as you only wear sans-label Jeremy Corbyn cast-offs which is fine because you're just so secure...
Major corporations outsource, but decent ones ensure decent conditions. It's called corporate responsibility.
That is the point.
I suspect you are insecure as you need to advertise to the world that you purchased a "brand".
Expensive and quality clothes are available without brands being displayed. I prefer those. Your guesses are wrong.
Being a high rate tax payer, I always voted Tory, even as a student! Yes, I hope Corbyn wins.

Decent like who? Corporate responsibility's a necessary PR-driven box ticking exercise, you didn't make a point there.

Actually, I really have a thing against clothing with brands emblazoned across them but I don't think TNF's logos are excessive and I use my own experience to decide what I like/dislike. Do you not think that voting according to your tax status is a bit lazy? I mean, you don't have central heating and shop at Mountain Warehouse but don't make informed decisions ahead of voting? Maybe it's just ignorance.

Good luck finding a good quality gore tex jacket without any branding for £50 anyway, which is the point you've been trying to make.

Also, if you know your menswear you'll know an Armani suit when you see one, I'm guessing you wouldn't.
You know an Armani suit when you see one, but you do not know a The North Face Jacket so you need a massive logo! This says it all.
"Chavs" were known by different names and existed before North Face. The insecure think the logo gives them prestige.

Code is no longer valid.
That is surprising as I returned my fenix as my parent got me one as well for fathers day and it was about 3 weeks at the return time but I had been signed up to one of those loyalty cards, Did not have the recipe but they tool it back.
It's only up to the customer to prove its faulty after six months.

Even though this might be a good price, remember there customer service is just appalling. Firstly I got the watch after nearly 2 weeks and then had a piece with a light bleed, so sent it back. Now they won't accept this as a defect and continuously refer that Garmin say this is normal. I have a pebble time and don't see any light bleed on that one, but apparently they have spoken to Garmin and Garmin say the watch is fine. I have a feeling they have not even contacted them. So its been a month and 10 days and I am still without a watch. And also throughout this whole month and 10 days not a single email or a phone call to update me of the status. I had to call them everytime to get things done.
Now read this carefully, they said they can't accept a return because I had removed the top plastic layer from the watch screen. Do NOT remove that. Try the watch first with it on so you can return it without hassle.
Also if someone can please send me a snap of the screen with the plastic thing on, as I remember is was just a black watch face kind and had to be removed to see the screen. But I might be wrong.
Now I feel, only if I could have waited for an Amazon deal.
cotsworld have a 30 day return policy so you can return it if you don't like it. surely you can't try a watch with the top protector on. also you would be covered under the distance selling regulation act wouldn't you ?
Not sure what the rules are anymore. Retailers somehow find an excuse not to accept returns even though its a defect. They said since I removed the top protector cover they can't accept it as a return. My pebble time does not have any light bleed. Strange thing is Garmin consider it as normal.
Long distance regulations are 14 days to return an item bought online but most retailers have a 30 day return policy. The item does need to be returned in its original condition and packaging. Remember they then have to try and sell it again and if people remove protective packaging then that becomes difficult.
The 30 day return policy does not have anything to do with faulty items. If an item is faulty you have a years warranty if not 2 depending on the item, electrical items have 2 within the eu. You have a choice with a faulty item. You can contact the manufacturer for repair or return the item to the retailer of which they can either refund , replace or repair but it is actually up to the customer to prove the item is faulty.

Yeah, up to seeing this, it was too expensive for me, over £120 in the shops near me, but I got to have a look at one and really liked the quality. Chinese now are they? well I guess it's still worth a punt - my cheapo Mountain warehouse merino top died after a year. If I get 2 out of this then its better value already :)
