Why obese? What about the women 'blessed' with out of proportion chest sizes?! An xl might be the only option for covering up those double Ds!
Double Ds are more often than not found in combination with a 44" waist, but for the rare exception I do not approve of covering up!

What did you decide in the end OP.
The choice and rather the decision was to go for the 5 sapphire version due to my puny wrists ... then i stubled on the 935. A slimmer lighter plastic version of the 5. Couldn't decide so i will take your advice and head to a retail store before committing. Appreciate your advice btw, thanks
What did you decide in the end OP.
Just to give you an idea. Here is my Fenix 3HR on my 6 3/4" wrist. Its the same size as the 5X. It is big but I like it like that, especially when you are out n about using it. The Fenix 5 looked ok on my wrist but I prefer the larger size. A 5S would be too small for me.

Whats the web site that recommends what size you should get for a particular wrist size, my googling is failing me?

For people who need sizes 10 or 12.5, the Salomon Mens Campside Manilla Mid GTX Boots at £42.50 reduced from £125 seem a decent alternative. Link. They also have women's Salomon Campside Mid GTX Boots in sizes 4, 4.5 and 5.5 at the same price. Link.

Also, don't forget 6.9% cashback from TopCashBack.

Shame not in a 11 would have ordered as well, absolute bargain. Thanx for info Op

I'd always go for brasher walking boots they're amazing. Good find though

I disagree. I had a pair of Brasher Hillmaster GTX about 20 years ago and they were good. 4 years ago, I needed a new pair and found Brasher are now made in China and very inferior to what they once were, also very negative reviews. I ended up buying a pair of Meindl Burma GTX's, which is what I really call walking boots.
these are really excellent SNOW boots. Had a pair for 3 years now and still look new, totally waterproof ( I walk on the beach with them) and insanely warm, if you suffer with cold feet you won't with these - I guarantee it! Super warm, and don't make my feet sweat either... they do have a downside, whilst really comfortable, they are really quite heavy, you certainly know you've got them on, walking in them can get more tiring compared to walking shoes. £55 is an amazing price I think I got mine for around £80 and it's certainly a lot of boot for the money. These are a High quality snow boot - you definitely could not use them in the warmer months though - your feet would get too hot. I see others have had some issues but me and the missus haven't and we've had them a while like I said. If you can cope with the weight, £55 is a no brainer steal. Voted Hot.

Edited By: hukd_addict on Feb 26, 2017 01:20
I just recently bought a pair of these. They look massive on and when I went to the the laces, one of the lace hook fasteners came away so had to return them for a refund. They seem very well made until this happened and heard a few others with same problem. Fingers crossed others don't have the same issues. Have some heat though op.

Usually tent mules will have a rubber sole, so will withstand moderate outdoor use. These don't, so I don't really see the point.

Freedom for the toes!

Cheers, ordered a pair to try.
These fall apart with the tiniest little soaking in water. Very poor quality, avoid. Keen wouldn't accept the return of them for inspection either as they were a gift and I had no receipt. Just warning you, you will be very disappointed in these shoes. I'm never buying Keen again.

Looks a great rucksack but im guessing the cold votes are people thinking £72 is too much for a 45l bag never mind the supposed £145 RRP
North Face along with others are guilty of fleecing customers with sky high prices for stuff that costs them a fraction to make.
Must be all the couch potatoes voting cold lol
I thought that it was a good deal.

Of course it is, your last comment is like saying my new BMW cost £30,000 but you can pick up a new Fiat for £5,000 and of course the BMW is better, just like the North face is better. It comes down to quality.
Its a Polartec fleece, and is better manufacture quality to generic fleece - all the top mountaineering brands use them, you might even find that Berghaus' premium lines also use them.
Admittedly, these NF fleexes used to be ~ £25 on sale, but prices have been creeping up the last few years, and I'd expect them to increase more next year.

Are you talking about yourself? I see no reason to vote Labour, as did the majority of those who voted. I made an informed decision. Making assumptions displays your ignorance. I have heating on when I wish and do not require an overpriced Gortex jacket with a logo on. I, like many can easily afford them, but I would expect to be paid to advertise their products. When I display adverts on my websites, Google pays me, I do not pay them ;)

Major corporation outsources manufacturing to 3rd party company in developing nation, this is new or shocking to you? Please.
Insecure kids wear expensive brands to look cool and fit in with their friends, again this isn't news and doesn't say anything about the manufacturer. 10 years ago these kids wore Berghaus, before that Helly Hansen etc. They all make decent gear although I guess you've never bought any of it as you only wear sans-label Jeremy Corbyn cast-offs which is fine because you're just so secure...
Major corporations outsource, but decent ones ensure decent conditions. It's called corporate responsibility.
That is the point.
I suspect you are insecure as you need to advertise to the world that you purchased a "brand".
Expensive and quality clothes are available without brands being displayed. I prefer those. Your guesses are wrong.
Being a high rate tax payer, I always voted Tory, even as a student! Yes, I hope Corbyn wins.

Decent like who? Corporate responsibility's a necessary PR-driven box ticking exercise, you didn't make a point there.

Actually, I really have a thing against clothing with brands emblazoned across them but I don't think TNF's logos are excessive and I use my own experience to decide what I like/dislike. Do you not think that voting according to your tax status is a bit lazy? I mean, you don't have central heating and shop at Mountain Warehouse but don't make informed decisions ahead of voting? Maybe it's just ignorance.

Good luck finding a good quality gore tex jacket without any branding for £50 anyway, which is the point you've been trying to make.

You know an Armani suit when you see one, but you do not know a The North Face Jacket so you need a massive logo! This says it all.

That is surprising as I returned my fenix as my parent got me one as well for fathers day and it was about 3 weeks at the return time but I had been signed up to one of those loyalty cards, Did not have the recipe but they tool it back.
It's only up to the customer to prove its faulty after six months.

Even though this might be a good price, remember there customer service is just appalling. Firstly I got the watch after nearly 2 weeks and then had a piece with a light bleed, so sent it back. Now they won't accept this as a defect and continuously refer that Garmin say this is normal. I have a pebble time and don't see any light bleed on that one, but apparently they have spoken to Garmin and Garmin say the watch is fine. I have a feeling they have not even contacted them. So its been a month and 10 days and I am still without a watch. And also throughout this whole month and 10 days not a single email or a phone call to update me of the status. I had to call them everytime to get things done.
Now read this carefully, they said they can't accept a return because I had removed the top plastic layer from the watch screen. Do NOT remove that. Try the watch first with it on so you can return it without hassle.
Also if someone can please send me a snap of the screen with the plastic thing on, as I remember is was just a black watch face kind and had to be removed to see the screen. But I might be wrong.
Now I feel, only if I could have waited for an Amazon deal.
cotsworld have a 30 day return policy so you can return it if you don't like it. surely you can't try a watch with the top protector on. also you would be covered under the distance selling regulation act wouldn't you ?
Not sure what the rules are anymore. Retailers somehow find an excuse not to accept returns even though its a defect. They said since I removed the top protector cover they can't accept it as a return. My pebble time does not have any light bleed. Strange thing is Garmin consider it as normal.
Long distance regulations are 14 days to return an item bought online but most retailers have a 30 day return policy. The item does need to be returned in its original condition and packaging. Remember they then have to try and sell it again and if people remove protective packaging then that becomes difficult.
The 30 day return policy does not have anything to do with faulty items. If an item is faulty you have a years warranty if not 2 depending on the item, electrical items have 2 within the eu. You have a choice with a faulty item. You can contact the manufacturer for repair or return the item to the retailer of which they can either refund , replace or repair but it is actually up to the customer to prove the item is faulty.
