Real confidence inspiring bike, mine's an 05 with a 5th Element shock and it feels bottomless on drops, can be built to a reasonable weight if the right parts are used, this bike never never fails to impress me!

Such a fun ride and versatile frame. Mine is a 04 model with 5th element coil shock, the platform means you don't bob around and lets this bike really climb. The frame is strong and a little heavy but the shock lets it climb efficently. Can be built for DH, Freeride or All mountain types of riding. I've got a light, strong, build with pace RC41 fighter forks so I hve 6"'s front and back and can get up the hills and fly back down them. The suspension design installs confidence, you never feel you are near bottoming out and it feels plush and well controlled through the whole stroke. A bit heavier than the new breed of long travel all day bikes but gives better performance.

I bought an 06 G Spot from the Cove shop in Vancouver, when I was out there last year. Built up with RS pikes and RF evolve kit. This bike is so much fun to ride! Its nimble enough to ride the North shore and pedal up mountains (eventually), but beefy enough to everything Whistler had to chuck at it in its stride and shock a few boys on big travel DH bikes. I love my G Spot, not the most sopisticated suspension going, but the travel is so plush and feels endless, the handling is spot on and its so much fun.

Got mine in 2003, would of got a Hustler if they were in production then, but when i first built it up and took it out riding i started hitting s*** that i never thought i would ride. The G spot is an animal! Have ridden the Alps nearly every year, the world cup DH track in Fort Bill and loads of Welsh DH trails on it. It has also got me round 40-50 mile cross country trails in the past, albeit slowly compared to a full xc rig. The best full squidge i've ridden, and i've worked in the trade for 11 years. Bearings are expensive to replace though. Buy one and reap the rewards!

i had an 07 model nicked from my garage so im quite upset because as bikes go...this is increadible...it gave me confidence to tackle drops and jumps id never of thought of doing before. it soaks up the bumps no matter how big they are...and then you can spend a day doing uk trail centres on it. i have cycled 40k on it several times at pretty quick pace...only downside is that its quite heavy but this can be fixed by you getting fitter...but this frame is a work of art...its more versetile then anything else out thier...buy buy buy...you can even run it singlespeed.

Don't need a £600 bike frame, but I like anything that is gratifying and nice!

Great deal, although you'll need another £500 in components to do this frame justice.

there is alot of good deals on parts around on the web.
chain reaction being one of them merlin cycles, uk bike store and loads more other sites.
or buy stuff off ebay 2nd hand or new for less.
Also if you have a bike aready take the parts off it and put it on this frame the rear shock come with this frame so you could get away with just putting your old parts on this then upgrading parts when you have the cash.

i think its loads better buying a frame and doing the build yourself like i said you can get bargain good parts off the web and you can build it to the spec you want.

my mate buys new bikes that cost him a fair wack and then ends up changing 1/2 his components.

£1000 drop? questions how much these are really worth, no? not putting it down but does seem a crazy reduction if that really is what it sold for before.

These frames are the daddy of all frames if you are into your mountain biking in a pro way then this is a very good buy/.

maybe able to make some money on these on ebay that the chain reaction price as no one else sell these that cheap.
adding a extra £100 to the price you paid at chain reaction on ebay buy it now should make you a few quid as this is still over £1000 everywhere else so people on ebay will be getting a bargain still.

CRC seem to have just been added to quidco, presumably you'd get 6%;
6%for all products excluding complete bicycles
4%for complete bicycles
