If they have wheat grains in them you won't be able to wash them.

How often do you wash your slippers? At this price you buy a new pair

On a regular basis. That was my point, you can't put dirty slippers in the microwave. You would need to keep buying new ones or not heat them. :)

Would love to have bought the boots, shame there are none available. Good deal though for the slippers.

So have I. I bought a microwaveable wheat hot water bottle shape warmer and everynight take it to bed. It is lovely to warm my cold feet up on while I read. Doesn't go cold in the bed like a real hot water bottle.

Crikey! How sweaty are your feet? I often put my slippers on the radiator for a few minutes before putting them on and they don't smell. So long as you don't super heat these, i doubt there'll be a problem. Also, a lot of microwaveable wheat products have removable bags.

I have the bed-teddy with a hint of lavendar but have to say that it starts smelling disgusting after a few uses - mingin stale lavendar - not nice....
#14
If these are the same ones i got, you take out the wheat sacks and just microwave them; thus when the sacks are out you can wash the slippers.

I paid £10 for these just before Xmas with a voucher RRP was £19.99.

Excellent deal from Play.

Shame they don't have them in Manly Black....I'd settle for Hot Pink as well. ^_^
#16
whatever you do don't try walking with them on :) they weigh a ton!
#17
Anyone know where you can get something similar for men?
Thanks

Thx a lot, perfect pressie for my gf's b'day. Just hope i get the pink.

My only experience of a wheat grain filled hot water bottle was not very good. They don't get very hot, and they cool down really quickly - just a gimicky idea in my view - best avoided.

remember to remove feet before placing in microwave!

Only if it was winter still ^^

Even if they don't smell its v un-hygenic lol. Anyone want their dinner re-heated in a microwave after a pair of worn slippers have been put in there.
