CRANK Bros is a name more associ-ated with the mtb market. However, the Quattro pedal is supplied to the Davitamon-Lotto team, and has been accepted by a surprising number of traditional riders. The four-sided retention system uses a single spring, and the whole assembly rotates in the pedal body. You can clip in on both sides of the pedal, making snap getaways a breeze. A three-bolt cleat adapter offers great support thanks to a wide contact point with the pedal, and the choice of 15 or 20 degrees of float will please those with grumbly knees. Clicking in, the action is the lightest on test, and release is positive. With a large amount of float the pedal may suit Grit riders who make sudden direction changes.

Great find, ordering them now. Thanks :)

excellent price,
excellent pedals, i use these on my drop bared cyclocross commuting bike with sidi dominators, best of both worlds i.e you can still walk, low Q factor (compared to mtb pedals), and really easy to clip out of . . .

recommended

p.s the cleat's alone are approx 10-15 (they may come with the more expensive adjustable version?)

As an MTB'er I can't comment on Crank Bro's road pedals, but if they're anything like as good as the mtb ones then this is a fantastic deal!

What's a Q factor by the way?
